Who's obsessing?  Simply stating that we're at #3 now isn't obsessing, it's just stating a fact.
We're still in great position...and a far better position than we have been in since the Kawaguchi days.

Team looked good this weekend despite the split...deserved more than 3pts.  Work on fixing the PP and a few mental lapses and all is good.

As you said...chill out.  ;)

Why is this relevant? Focus on the game. I’m tired of obsessing over seeding.

It’s super relevant. The difference in quality of opponent in first round based on if you are #1 or #2 is night and day. We know that it’s not uncommon to lose first round as a top four seed, so by focusing on getting a good seed we can avoid a first round loss. Seeding also determines who gets last change which when you play some of these teams, you are going to want that

DU is meh. Should have been a W.

0-7 on the PP for the series. PK was awful when it mattered.

Looking forward to hitting the Lululemon Center on the campus of ASU on Saturday...I mean the Mullett Arena.

Yep. I was at the game and they are way too passive. Need to move around and get them out of position. It was very predictable

After Friday’s game Jackson mentioned that DU kind of “baited them” into being slower moving the puck around on the PP and that they needed to be more aggressive.  It was kind of disappointing to see more of the same last night.

That said, sometimes it just doesn’t click on a given weekend. Take the opportunity to learn from it and move on.

Hard to do when they can't play a full 60, the power play is useless, and you can see clear evidence of a divided locker room.   Bad things are always there; some of us are just slow to acknowledge them.  To think that this team had me this close to being a happy person.

Where are you getting these opinions from? Our power play is one of the better in the nation. Who’s divided? Denver isn’t a bad team, and there were mostly positives from the weekend.

UND’s Power Play is ranked third in the nation, and they're ranked third in goal scoring.

PP has been good….last weekend was pretty bad. Just need to watch some film. Seasons been fun to watch, keep building for playoff time.

Tough weekend for #18! He looked like a 17 year old out there especially last night. Hopefully just a blip on the radar but he was a step or two slow all weekend.

He had some misplays, one of which lead to a DU goal, but I don’t think he looked a step or two slow all weekend.   He continued to show his uncommon calm when under pressure and his  elite stick skills.   If he kicks azz every time he’s on the ice, he’s that much closer to being gone come April.  As long as he doesn’t lose confidence from occasional hiccups, he’s right on schedule, IMO.

I thought he looked good all weekend besides that one bad giveaway after being out there for an extended shift. Liv also had a bad play that resulted in an ASU goal earlier in the season. It happens. They are young and will learn. Ludtke had a bad giveaway for Minnesota last night too.
