Wilbur Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Toss up game Friday. They should win, but won't be surprised in the least bit if they lose to Finland. Goaltending....meh....D zone structure is abysmal, and the forward groupings make zero sense to me. Zellers getting a regular shift and he's probably in the running for a top player award for team USA as hes +6 at the moment on a team that gives up goals like I give away shots on the golf course. 1 1 Quote

Finland is much better than the States right now, especially in net & with Plante out. Quote

When you give up as many power play goals against Sweden and aren’t utilizing Emery that much, it is no wonder why they can’t keep the puck out of their net. U.S. goalies can’t stop the puck if they can’t see it, but also if you are giving up point blank shots to most of these guys, they have the ability to hit the corners more times than not. They all can snipe. Quote

Sioux_Hab-it Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Sweden has looked like the team to beat before and have often gone undefeated during many past tournaments, both the boy's and men's teams, and then they don't show up for the playoffs. Quote
