We need a blog please!

When I first saw your post, gf, I thought you said “We need a bong please.”   I don’t know why I would think such a thing.

I know that I need one. Better days, better days, got me thinking of better days.

2nd half conference schedule gets tougher for UND, but it is setup somewhat ok with only one series each against DU and WMU.

You of all people would overlook Mercyhurst....

It’s a super nice start, but we need to keep finding ways to win in the second half as well.  Really different in the league this year, as there is already a clear line between home ice and being on the road.  Usually it is up in the air until the final weekend.  Just glad we are on the right side of line.

Anybody know why Omaha is going off the ice through the penalty box instead of behind their bench?

The visiting locker room is in the locker room suites behind the penalty bench. They moved the officials to the locker room in the Zamboni room. So the officials use the Zamboni doors and the visitors go through the visiting penalty bench.

Didn’t play a full 60 but got the W. Maybe this team is just that darn good? Now on to Mercyhurst prep

Until we play Michigan. Scary thought. 60 plus shots to a weak team like Omaha, is concerning.

I heard that they turned the old visiting locker room into a recovery type room for UND

SOG can be misleading too, as we've seen before.
UNO isn't a good team this year, but UND just completed the four-game sweep of them by a combined 18-5 score.
UNO didn't score more than 1 goal/game against UND after the first game when they only scored 2.

UND is finding ways to win games.  I'll save my concerns for if/when they start finding ways to lose games.  ;)

We definitely need to be on our A game when we play A teams. It seems that consistency is a constant struggle. Maybe it is getting better, maybe it is just a small sample size. I guess that is why they play out all the games. Seems we will have quite a few players on the lime-light ice over the break. Good for them (and I guess good for us from a recruiting perspecive). Might give some of the other guys time to shine against underdog Mercyhurst. It would be a shame to leave any points on the table against Mercyhurst...
