He played well for us. If he had no academic or legal issues you figure out if he makes us a better FB team. If he does, welcome home, let’s get to work.
As long as the NCAA allows players to have agents, the agents are going to try to convince players to enter the portal.
Is it the scaled down version of free agency?

This also happens every single day in the workplace and the “real world”. But heaven forbid a college athlete does it and you’d think the world was ending.

Well said. Programs that don't embrace this type of thinking will be at a disadvantage. Key of course will be this will be done on a case-by-case basis. Asking yourself that simple question.

They didn’t get the memo

Dylan Lord got the memo on a $2.5 million donation to Redbird Football from an anonymous former QB.  This kid has street smarts.

Theo Grace was an unknown.

Important to note, impact vs depth. #’s don’t tell the story. UND has 4 impact of 14. NDSU has 7 impact of 11. That’s an awful ratio.

His big brother entered the Portal from the Oregon Ducks. He had the #3 most O-snaps out TEs left at Oregon.

But Grace was recruited for the 3-4 by Bubba.

Could you explain please?

Young guys can contribute at that position fortunately. Also, watching Indiana throw back shoulder all day to a guy with zero separation in a semifinal game makes you wonder what Deng could do next year if they just chuck the pigskin his way.

And remember there's going to be two of them!

The class got recruited and signed  by Bubba. Then, after they were signed, they discovered they had a new coach.  Not a big deal, because mostly future players. The way the portal is- there are 3,750 options out there.

So that's why his dad is constantly sh*tting on UND on X/Twitter.  Makes sense now.

Assume this is his dad? Finally found some stuff after sifting through all sorts of politics.

What are we thinking here another DT/DE and LB?

I have a feeling there might be another scholarship or two open at WR. Also, including Lawson and 2026 freshman Zdon, RB will only be at 5 players vs. 7 this past season. Also, there is likely room for a QB as there were 5 on the roster last year and only sitting at 4 when including the 2026 freshman.

I wonder when we'll find out if we get Avery Scott, Jonnie Wiltshire and Montre Samuels Parker? But regardless we've added fantastic players from the transfer portal!

Does anyone know how this works? Can they participate in off-season activities while they await word on an additional year?

From what I read there is no timeline for the NCAA to decide on it. I don't know about participation in off season.

DE / LB / WR

The way I look at it, you have potentially the Top starting DE combo in the country. What is behind them? Mohr? He’s been hurt consistently. Is the Albany transfer DT or DE? If he’s DE then I still think you need one more. If he’s DT then I think you need DE X 2

First off the bus and last off the bench so far. Hope it clicks for him since he’s a Central kid and I am very biased.

I am biased too. Good kid. Too athletic for it not to click at some point. At least I hope so

Wondering if the Albany kid will play a bit of both inside and outside due to his size? Behind Mohr, Paye will be a RS-Sophomore, so he could make a leap. They must also like the freshman Thornton as he played in 3 regular season games and both playoff games. Although a walk-on, I am not going to count out anyone with the genes that Kleinsasser has, although he's probably a couple years away.

This is ridiculous, the NCAA should make these decisions in a timely manner because teams need to be able to have backup plans depending on those decisions.
