Crowd noise wasn't that noticeable to me. Quote
Popular Post Sioux94 Posted 6 hours ago Popular Post Posted 6 hours ago Poor scouting to not have our OL be ready for the SU DL shift. We had 3 false starts....in our own building due to this. Did they not see this in film, and maybe have the scout team due this in practice so they were used to it?? 4 3 Quote

When he released the ball, he released the ball back towards our goal line while moving in the direction of the NDSU goal line. Physics will keep the ball moving horizontally for a bit before it moves to the ground. I would say since the ball was released in opposite direction he was headed that would make sense......but I can understand the interpretation the officials made though Quote
Siouxperman8 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Simple to me. Run the damn ball at the 6 inch line with 2 downs left and again at the 2 with 4 cracks at it. also get under center on short yardage. We lived on the sneak with Q in those situations. Maybe Jerry’s not that guy but find a TE or FB that is good at that. Do those two simple things and we’re all celebrating tonight. 2 Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Noise situation was good but could be better. Band plays too damn much when UND has the ball (is on offense) and fans need to be loud on all downs when UND is on defense. F’ the “fans” who complain about those around them that are excited and wanting to amp up the atmosphere ... it’s simple, teach that you go home and watch the game if you don’t like the participation/ noise or learn to join in… Anyways, UND’s offense lost the game today. Very disappointing. Get back to work boys. Fruechte and his unit needs to do better. Coach Schmidt and his JYDs deserved the win today, D balled out, O needs to be better … 4 losses by a total of 14 pts and all 4 games defense gave UND a chance to win via 2 minute drill and the O continues to falter … 2 Quote

Longtime fan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Ndsu is very beatable. Youngstown lost to them by 8 last week (had many chances ) and und by 5 this week. Indiana st was controlling the 1st half of their game three weeks ago until a two hour delay. Ndsu controlled after that. Thought their qb looked better in highlights. He’s not that impressive. His running skills are more pronounced because of his size/speed. Decent moves but he simply is bigger than most defensive guys at this level. His qb skills tho?? He locks in on #1 and just gives a hurl the direction of the wr in hopes he completes it. Think he would make a better rb. They really don’t have any decent rb it looks like. Decent OL. Their D played fairly well. But unds Offense had a lot to do with that. If they didn’t have home field advantage through out the playoffs I could see them losing out in the quarterfinals. But they have home field. I can’t pinpoint one thing that is truly dominant about Ndsu . Not impressed Quote

Hawkster Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If you're going for it on 4th and inches at midfield you'd better make darn sure to get it. That one hurt. 1 Quote
rover Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago South Dakota defeats the jacks. Nice win for them. They really turned their season around 1 Quote
UND69er Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This and several other games the last few years were winnable IF we had confidence in kicking FGs. You cannot be a confident winning program in todays game wo a reliable kicker. Period. UND has missed oppty after oppty to win or take a lead in games early for as long as I can remember. Playing FB wo kicking FGs is like wrestling with both hands tied behind you. Terrible handicap both in scoring and in decision making. 2 Quote

Before the snap I was like, are we really going to run the QB keeper up the right side again? I was wondering, maybe there is a wrinkle built into thus formation. Nope, same exact f'ing play as we ran the previous 4th down. 1 Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Had a blast in grand forks. Game was fun. The little girls in front of me gave me a hard time. Hope you all enjoyed the weekend as well despite the loss Quote
