Forgot where I heard of it, but schools are more patient now to commit players with the player pool much larger now. Quote

I think we are seeing a lot of teams, like UND, go out and get their local guys early. Most of the top guys are still on the board. I do not see the benefit of the top players committing this early unless it’s their “dream school.” Quote

Clicked on the Honeybaked 15AAA roster and there are a bunch of Moorhead kids straight from Bantam AA with Matt Cullen listed as the assistant coach. Crazy that watching their older brothers and friends win the state tournament couldn't sway them to play at least a year of HS. Quote
