brianvf Posted Sunday at 03:44 AM Posted Sunday at 03:44 AM Yeah I'd be pretty dang ticked if UND lost in OT with that uncalled pick. 3 Quote
cberkas Posted Sunday at 03:45 AM Author Posted Sunday at 03:45 AM Funny how it gets called all the time but in OT let's not call that (in this game) 1 Quote

Remember the BS 5 minute major and game the refs called on Cole Smith at Magness? Complete garbage. I also remember a bad CC team and Alex Leclerc nursing a one goal lead late in a game at Magness and the refs staring right at a big time slew foot in the CC zone that didn’t get called on DU leading to the tying goal. AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted Sunday at 03:52 AM Posted Sunday at 03:52 AM Miami at 19 in NPI with 3 top ten series in a row giving them every chance in the world to get an at large bid. Forget NCHC coach of the year, Noreen deserves national recognition. 4 Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted Sunday at 04:16 AM Posted Sunday at 04:16 AM Did they he not have a timeout to use? Pretty cut and dry interference. Moving pick is an easy call. Quote
TwamleyShuffle Posted Sunday at 04:36 AM Posted Sunday at 04:36 AM Miami just might host a first round NCHC tournament game 1 Quote
RedFrog Posted Sunday at 05:06 AM Posted Sunday at 05:06 AM I thought in real time that it may have been offside, but forgot about it after the pick until I just watched the replay. You challenge that all day long and twice on Saturdays. 2 Quote

Moving pick is an easy call. Can’t challenge it. You can challenge an offside where the player was an inch offside but did not factor in a goal being scored. You can’t challenge a pick that was instrumental in a game winning goal. 1 Quote
rochsioux Posted Sunday at 05:15 AM Posted Sunday at 05:15 AM Cebrian was offsides and set an illegal pick. Refs 0-2. 1 Quote

SJHovey Posted Sunday at 10:35 AM Posted Sunday at 10:35 AM Didn’t UMD run a pick near the blue line against us to score a crucial goal? Quote

.357 Posted Sunday at 03:41 PM Posted Sunday at 03:41 PM Not much movement in the NPI at this point in the season. Before Saturday's game against #44 Omaha, WMU was sitting at #3. WMU only fell 2 spots to #5 after their loss, which isn't much at all considering Omaha was so low; while Omaha only jumped 4 to #40. UND maintained the #3 position during their bye week, which is good considering they could have easily fallen to #5 if WMU & PSU had had better weekends...Ohio St. missed a good opportunity to knock MI down a peg, outshot them both nights & lost in ot yesterday. 1 Quote

And of course the classic post game interview I’ve spoken about recently where Frank Serratore got tossed from a game up at Magness for sarcastically clapping after about the fifth consecutive power play being awarded to Denver. Oh yah, and the series in 2012 at Magness between Cornell and Denver where an irate Mike Schafer went on a post game rant about how atrocious the WCHA officials were in tilting the scales in Denver’s favor with how they officiated the games. (One could argue however, that teams from the west suffer the same fate when having ECAC officials as well). 1 Quote
