Blame this on your coach Mal and Chavez.  She blew it up then bailed.  She had no business being hired with never having coached before. But she was a UND alum so to most including Chaves, she was over qualified.

Not mine (your)

I have always wanted a National Search, and hire a New, Young, Energetic, Person with some D1 Experience!

if they happen to have ties or are a alum that is just another box checked…

We have come long way from beginning of the conference season we are basically playing with best teams for three quarters until we now run into fall trouble. Saturdays referees didn’t swallow their whistle but pretty much wore them out. This was pretty much old time home call even if we’re straight up in block you got flagged especially against there star. We still were making young team making mistakes but also at times dictated play at times. We’re still short on that dominate post player who can score inside with traffic. Miller is going to be good with that post player I hope we have recruited because she will be able to score inside but, her ability to move out and shoot the three will open whole floor with this group of players. We will miss experience of Hugh’s but Hillesheim and Harris are going to develop into very good guards. Plus I see we have several good recruits also coming in next year. Then Piekney I think has turned the corner into player they hope she could become and she only has big upside yet. Mathern has just forced playing time because of her hard work.  Volmer could become next point guard like Hugh’s but she needs to get physically stronger and fundamentally stronger defensively which she has shown at times. Several others on this team hard to know their future but have talent to develop into role players. Finally Ohnstad a player that has offensive talents and size to make impact but needs to work on her defense  but I wonder if she has bought into what Sutter wants big question for coming season. These are my observations but I see beginning of what Hutter is trying to build here it will be determined in next couple of recruiting classes either from high school or in the portal.  Then all depends who stays and who leave through the portal.

Imagine if they didn’t have Hughes. My goodness. Is there any hope for next year?

A NAIA transfer.....really? That's the ceiling on this roster??

Be interesting to see to see who stays , need a couple point guards, a good shooter from the 4, a big that has hands and CAN MAKE SHORT SHOTS

do these ladies do weight training, they look so weak

Mal really left the place in a HUGE mess, that’s on Chaves

I give the coach a few years and see where he takes the team

How low does this program have to go?  Can’t shoot - offense is so bad-dribble dribble around and then throw up a three that hits the top of the bank board.  No shooters that can shoot a mid range shot -just throw up 3s.  NAIA coaching and pretty obvious post move coaching is bad.  I have watched UND women’s basketball for 35 years and even in the early days it wasn’t this bad.  Don’t give the excuse this the first year of a new coach-he did not adjust to the players in the program.  Being a supporter of women’s basketball I can’t support this any longer.  It starts at the top!

1-20 from 3. There's probably an 8th grade girls team from Hawley that would shoot better than that.

Hutter had all year to make this team better -how did that work out.  Time to move on from Mal. Hutter had a year to at least create an offense suited for the players-couldn’t even see that the offense wasn’t working and didn’t make adjustments.  That is poor coaching.

this year is what it was expected to be. If nothing improves next year you can get out the torches and pitchforks.

You expected them to score 3 points in a quarter at the Summit League Tournament?  UND fans need to care more.  Look at what happens when the correct coach is hired (fb and hockey)
