Going to be Chyzk,Simpson and Smaby. If Smaby can get over the fact he wasn't brought in when Karl was in '19. Sounds like way more than just a firing. Some serious tension between coaching staff

So if UND hires an outside coach possibly even more hit the portal and everyone would be saying if you don't want to be here then leave.  Jax is hired some stay and some go and it is all his fault.  We don't know what players actually said what or said nothing.   I wasn't in favor of it being Jax but let's see what he can do.   Wouldn't be any easier for an outside hire today.

”Head Coach Jackson is currently unavailable to complete the press conference as previously scheduled. He is deep in the trenches of talking with CHL players and coaches, potential recruits, and players in the portal.  He has not slept in the last 72 hours due to rebuilding a roster. If anyone is willing to sponsor 2 weeks of Red Bull to keep his momentum going, please contact AD Chaves for drop off. Thank you”

This whole portal which came out of COVID I believe and the NIL has just ruined college hockey and ncaa sports in general. Sad to see.  Been a Sioux fan for 30 years but just done care for the turn college hockey has taken.  I used to go to a lot of games but just mostly just watch on Midco now.  I realize times change but this is getting beyond ridiculous.

This is where our leadership utterly failed UND and the hockey program.  We shouldn't be in the position of failing because of these things, UND should have been primed to take advantage of them and assert dominance even further.  Strong and powerful programs reap the rewards of such programs, not succumb to them.  They are "rich get richer" schemes unless you've been run on a house of cards and fraudsters playing games of smoke and mirrors.  No one should spend a dime on tickets or merch or anything at UND at this point.  It's utterly shocking how far things have fallen.

Hilarious. He & Simpson are no doubt earning their paychecks during this portal window. Would like to think that they're in negotiations with some skilled forwards this week; hence why a GM already on staff would have made things more copacetic & less chaotic.

I guess I'm more interested on what will happen with bringing in some CHL guys versus looking at retreads from other schools. Feels like we might be better suited to go for the Canadian guys IMO. Anyone else have any insight on that side of things?

Red Bull is weak, shouldn't even be considered an energy drink. With that said, I'll pitch in 3 cases of Bang.
