Regardless of your experience hiring/extending  here are the facts regarding Chaves:

- Jeremiah Tiffin was a disaster 

- Mal hire was a disaster 

- Sather hire has been poor

- fire the soccer coach and hire the assistant- this is looking more and more like this was due to the Title IX case against Chaves 

- Fire Bubba after just renewing his contract- disaster you are paying him out hundreds of thousands of dollars 

- Jesse Tupac hire- looking like a disaster 

 

so my question to you: does Chaves know how to hire and extend good coaches? If so, where are the results. Alternatively, and in my opinion there is no way ALL these coaches are bad. Which leaves the alternative- the hiring of Chaves has been the downfall of the department.

You have repeatedly defended this athletic department and its director despite a total lack of results in the programs under its purview. Pointing that out isn't a personal attack, it's a simple observation.

It's not personal, it's strictly business (I've been watching The Godfather movies again).

Fans haven't stepped up?? You're amazing. Always someone else's responsibility. Have you been to a FB game and/or MBB/WBB game in past couple years or hockey after the New Year. Won't even bring up VB. The "Don't give a $#!t" fan meter is all the way to the right. A continual awful product doesn't make fans want to open up the entertainment dollars check book above and beyond season tickets, Champions Club, Alumni Foundation, ect.... somebody called Raboin a chippah....I am done commenting on the man, as I don't know him and have no recollection of Jan Brady State nor some college in SD nobody outside of the area has ever heard of...however, I do want to ensure vocabulary is correct...a non-drafted, walk-on by definition cannot be a chippah.  They can be a great player, which I am not saying he wasn't, although I don't recall him as a player...but chippaz are drafted and chippaz are full ride at 18.  Chippaz are chippaz.
