It was too much to avoid. The same thing is happening now. Correct. But @iramurphy and @jdub27 will call such as alternative fact, baseless assumption, and a strawman argument. This fan board really is good ol’ entertainment, but it also is an interesting microcosm of what presently troubles UND athletics. 1 Quote

Really? You must be pretty special to be able to have all of the answers and know what others think. Good for you. 1 Quote

Asking where a very specific claim was stated is all those things? We're fine with making up stances and quotes of others with no basis in reality? You're above that nonsense. If the claim was actually accurate, the pressure put on to make a change with football wouldn't have made a difference. Enough people did what they felt they needed to in order to make the work and budget challenges worth the squeeze. 1 1 Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Always an eye-opening reminder that somethings never change around here; again, a microcosm of the problems that currently haunt UND. Two identities making countless comments on one thing while meaning another, just to try prove a point. “If it looks like a horse, then it’s probably a horse.” Some try way too hard on misdirection. The culture of UND cannibalism needs to be eliminated. Anyways, here we are again at a UND coaching discussion. We all know which way this should go, but why do anything efficiently around here? 2 Quote
UND92,96 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 There is a recent article in the Aberdeen newspaper regarding potential candidates for the Northern State job, but it's behind a paywall. Anybody read it? Curious whether Sather was mentioned. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Meanwhile, at UND (albeit a low-major and not exactly Villanova), after six seasons and a 73-115 record … 2 1 Quote

NDRoots4Life Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Curious to see if Sather is the next to announce he's done and heading back to SD. I think it's 50/50 odds at this point. Quote

He's got a pretty good thing going in Minot, and the pay difference isn't as much as one might think. I think Phillips was making something like $112k. Murken is at around $100k, and is probably in a position to get a raise after the season they just had. I still think the chances are decent that Sather is in the mix. Quote
