Zbarth and Seidl will the like thunder and lightning this year. Im guessing Zbarth gets the start.  However, part of me thinks might not be bad to have Seidl start and then Z come in on 2nd or 3rd series and pound. Kinda like how Santiago would start and then Brady would come in. Zbarth is the senior though and Im sure will start,  and has earned it. Either way.....nice 1-2 punch those guys. The nice thing about Seidl, he could take it to the house on any play. 

Thoughts?

I don't disagree, though until I see some more of Seidl, it's tough to compare him [or anyone] to Santiago. That kid was one of my absolute favorites to watch, especially when he had the Grady Train blocking for him (what could have been). Ziebarth is a stud too, and his numbers may be better than Oliveira's were, but Oli was splitting time big with Santiago.

Regardless, I think Ziebarth and Seidl could be a pretty dynamic duo if used correctly, and when you through Xavier in the mix, nobody may have crazy numbers because of the split reps, but you have a pretty full stable if they can stay healthy. The guy I was really excited about when he committed was Colton Brunell, but he seems to be a bit buried right now. If I remember correctly, there was some talk that he needed to build up his legs last year and get stronger, so maybe being buried a bit isn't a bad thing. Hopefully we have some games where he can get some work late and he can step into a bigger role once Z and X are gone.

I see Grant Romfo moved to TE, so I assume that has to do with wanting to keep him on the team more than anything. Very undersized and it sounds like we have added some pretty decent TE to the mix (hopefully we use them).

Haven't really heard much about a few of the new guys. It will be nice to see a depth chart soon!

Frankfather - Juco kid, but was excited about the pickup. Has he made any traction, or will he be buried?

Devereaux - Assuming he won't start, but should we expect to see him get some playing time?

Higgins - I know he won't push for playing time at QB, but I haven't even heard his name. Is he getting reps or anything?

Kicker - Is there any competition here, or is this already locked up for Elrichs?

Tight Ends - With what we had and the additions from Missouri St and Wyoming, do we anticipate actually passing to the TE more? Or are these guys just filling roles and blocking?

Henry - D Line has been a pain point for years, always undersized and outmatched. With the change in defensive schemes, do we see Tyler Henry being an impact player, or a depth guy?

D back - I believe I've seen Walker and Lewis mentioned here and there, what about Robinson ... any insight on where he factors in?

any of the younger wr's.....need more down field chunk plays and hopefully someone can stretch the field a little bit

Devereaux will see a lot of time. He will be the third guy at LB behind McNeal and Parks.

Listen to the podcast that 360 recently put out about the defense. Went position by position and Wilkerson (new safeties coach) was great in that recap.

6?! Dang. Who are you thinking? Seems like Grant Noland may be a lock. Chuck Langama right there too. Beyond that, Tylutki, Thielges, Thornton? Those seem to be some I recall hearing Wilkerson talk about. Pierre Allen and Gabe Anderson maybe too? Maybe I’m missing some idk.

just throwing a number out there to see what people would say/post...with a new coach and only winning 5 games last year you would think the new coach will throw some young blood out there....

If the returning players can't get it done, you may very well see a lot of freshman thrown into games.

now is the time to have pick 3 games ticket packages or family weekend packages for tickets and food 

market with motels for a room and tickets

bring your high school football team to a game 

let’s fill the Alerus this year 

I was hoping the champions club would have a package for the Montana game too but no luck

In all honesty i haven’t seen much and kind of concerning as now is the time.

We are a bit over 2 weeks out from the home opener/potato bowl and Ticketmaster has tons of seats still available, hell the end sections are still open for the Bison game
