Wait for Schlossman’s late March article, which will read something like ….

”#17 North Dakota would have been ranked #12 and playing in Fargo this weekend had it won a November 22nd game against RMU in regulation instead of overtime.”

Goddammit...you are so right on.

So we come out blistering in the first period and get two goals.  Sleepwalk thru the second...then give up the first two goals in the third.  Boisvert gives us the lead back only to cough it up with 5 seconds to go.  Feel like we played about 10 minutes of really good hockey tonight.  That's not gonna cut it tomorrow or any other time.

That's what happens when there are no consequences....for either the players or coaches.

Cripes, we'll get blown out by Bemidji playing like this.

Agree!  It was  a “moral loss” tonight.  Just texted my bud that we might be swept by the Beavers as even when we’re real good they normally give us fits.  We are maybe not even “good” anymore.  Former Sioux player Barsness on Midco called them out for their lack of urgency (I.e., essentially not hustling 100% as used in other sports). In the 2nd period it was very evident. Just no excuse for what’s  happening considering the skill advantage they supposedly have over a team like Bob Morris.

He said it was just a bruise in the post game when he walked past TH

Until he wakes up tomorrow morning and can barely walk...

I really hope it's just a bruise.
But, if that's the case...

With the way this season has gone with injuries...it probably is.

Blaming injuries though is a cop-out IMO.  Yes, it plays a some part for this display/result, but we should still be lots better.  Lack of compete (2nd period tonight comes to mind…) has zero to do with injuries.

Was a little nervous in OT when they put OMac and Perron together with Livanavage.  Thought they might get outmuscled out there but then OMac comes through by using his speed and drawing a penalty.  Glad to see he's still working out there even though he's not scoring.
