When you are talking 225 bucks for the event, I am thinking if you want a friends trip, pay that money and golf Bandon Dunes or some destination golf course and then, other than some bad golf, you don't have something to drag down your friends trip. Based on the amount of people that show up and what they are able to charge for tickets, I'd say people are speaking with their wallets and want the REA and athletic department to continue with them. Not hard to do the math on what they will net top line for this game. To tell a recruit they will play in Vegas or Madison Square Garden, etc. that’s a plus. There’s also prob some 14 yr old stud hockey player from the area that will go to the game with his pops. B10 schools ain’t winning nattys. We need to stop worrying what other schools do and get the right players and playing the ones you recruit.
