fightingsioux4life Posted September 21 Posted September 21 We might as well run the triple option. Quote
Hans8891 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 We also haven’t seen Simon look to run which is clearly his strong suit. If he is going to be the guy, he needs to make things happen with his legs to open up the short to mid passing game - . Deep pocket passing is clearly not his forte…. 2 Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Defense is stepping up come on Romfo do something please anything Quote
tnt Posted September 21 Posted September 21 So we are copying the Montana game, where we don’t use Romfo’s running, which is why he is in the lineup. How about learning from our past mistakes. 2 Quote
rochsioux Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Trey Feeney couldn’t beat out this guy? That would mean one of the following: 1. Big miss on recruiting, 2. Horrible job developing him, or 3. Terrible job evaluating QBs on the roster. Any way I look at it the coaches have done a lousy job in finding and developing a QB. It’s just not acceptable to have a QB that can’t throw the ball. 2 2 Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Enough of the radio guys harping on San Diego having a lot of upperclassmen. That doesn't change the fact that this is a non-scholarship team that shouldn't be close to us on the scoreboard, let alone be in the lead. 1 1 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Does 11 yards passing in the first half even get Langdon HS the lead next Friday night?? 1 2 Quote
HoopsFan03 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 This doesn’t even seem real to be losing at half Quote

Maybe they have alot of good football players that would prefer to live in San Diego over Grand Forks. 1 Quote

Cratter Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Did really expect to be anything but a bubble playoff team yet again? 1 Quote
UND Football Fan Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I will try not be too critical, but if we cannot be more effective with the pass. Good teams will load the box and not worry about the pass game, because their corners will be more athletic than what we have seen so far this year. Danny with Tommy was effective enough with the pass that kept teams from loading up the box because even on 3rd and 3 teams knew we could still pass the the first. On the positive, I like the twisting we are doing in defense, San Diego has beef and bull rushing beef is not a good recipe. Lastly the players (or coaches) have to play to win the game. We look like we are and playing not to lose. Quote

UNDTIM20 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Seidl in there pass blocking makes no sense. Ziebarth not getting opportunities to run to the outside makes no sense. Not going for it on 4th down was stupid. 2 Quote
