rochsioux Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Would be nice to hold them to 35 or less. Would also be nice to score 21 or more. Doubt either of these happen. I’ll go with 48-13 Iowa State. Quote
UND Football Fan Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Not sure what we will get, my hope is we see great improvement week one to week 2. Tough to beat experienced team like ISU. 9-49 loss. If offense can move ball and defense improved I could see it closer game but still 17-35 loss. Only way we will win is a cleanly coached and played game (no dropped picks!) and ISU looking ahead for next week (go too vanilla on offense) as they play against Iowa. Quote
Parkers Pros Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Just really curious what Simon has and if we can generate pressure against them. Curious about the young line. No matter the score if we see something good against a team like this, that is a win. 1 Quote
GoodGood Posted August 31 Posted August 31 With the way people are talking about them on here, I think Iowa state over 7.5 wins is the lock of the century Quote
F'n Hawks Posted August 31 Posted August 31 With basically a whole new o-line, not a good situation for Simons first start. Feel like he will be running for his life. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Offensive line play and defensive front play. That will tell the story of this game (and most games). Not Bo, Not Simon, despite how cool their stories are. UND’s offensive line has 4 new starters and a new coach … defensive line with new bunch also. We will see … but playing against Big 12 talent is the ultimate test for these new line of scrimmage units. Quote
Siouxperman8 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Made the drive to Ames today. Gonna be warm game 1 Quote

Even with what’s considered a great line, Tommy ran for his life quite often. they were far better at run blocking than pass blocks Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted August 31 Posted August 31 13-52 Iowa State UND settles for two FGs early, then ISU takes over. UND gets a late TD against third stringers to make it less lopsided. Please prove me wrong. 1 1 Quote
Sioux94 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 The best we could hope for is probably like 34-17, but I'm thinking 42-10 and I'm thinking they have 24 at half 1 Quote
Sioux94 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 QB bootleg with a run pass option on first play is my call. Quote

Esoteric Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Being out of state, where can I watch the football game. Could not find on ESPN+ have it on KFGO. But not TV. If you are in Ames Iowa remember to enjoy Jeffs Pizza after the game. Quote
