Obviously Blake helped his production but he was a very good player last year. His fall is astonishing. There has to be more to the story Yeah agreed. He shows signs of the player that he could become...glimpses where you think it's coming together for him. He went from 15pts as a FR to 39pts as a SO playing with Blake. I wasn't expecting him to have those same numbers this year after Blake left, but.... Hopefully he can end the season on a strong note. He got that goal monkey off his back against BSU...time to start piling a few in. 2 Quote

I actually thought Omac would take another jump this year. No one is putting up big numbers though. Quote

Spoke with Little Woodenboy: Berg Boisvert Perron Swanson Wilkie Strinden Jammer Schmaltz James Croal OMac Kunz Maybe switch Littler for Kunz? How about a trunk monkey for a wingman on any of the lines?? SPOOOOOOOOOOONN Go Sioux! Quote

The biggest issue is all our players are having subpar years. Typically it can be a 1-2 or 2-3 key players having off years…but no one on this team is having a good year outside of Livinavage or Wiebe. No one. When everyone is having an off year you have to start asking why. We turned Bump away and he went off against us. He isn’t really that close to the prospect Perron is (was)….you start asking what’s going on? 2 Quote

cberkas Posted yesterday at 03:04 PM Posted yesterday at 03:04 PM If Berry misses a 4th time UND is hosting a regional that has to be the final nail in the coffin. UND is basically wasting money for them not to be at their own regional. If he misses the NCAAs, that would be 4 out of the 6 UND has hosted which is half of all the regionals they have hosted. And to add on to that, that is only 1 win. Quote

It’s not like Berry or anyone on the team has to lift a finger. This is all Jody Hodgson and his staff. It’s not like this is the missing piece distracting the team. It’s funny what people shift their ire to when we have a bad season, kinda like all the ‘let’s stop wearing the black jerseys’ because we lose games wearing them. There’s bigger issues lol 3 Quote

TJ lost 4-1 and 5-1 in his two games. Hobie won 4-3 OT and lost 3-2 OT. Which means they'll probably go with TJ. 1 Quote

We’re challenging the goalies? Who cares if we play one, or both goalies. It doesn’t appear goaltending is this team’s issue at all. As noted before, I don’t believe it’s a strength, but our issue is special teams, puck possession, and goal scoring. 1 Quote

May as well include...unable to play a complete game, questionable line-ups, the defense regressing, no identity, undisciplined play. The team had a closed-door meeting late last year to address the problems they were having. Supposedly tough questions were asked, but it was never mentioned if any answers were found. Obviously, there weren't. Makes one wonder what was discussed. 1 Quote
