Inexcusable, period.

Anyone who wants to go down there and cheer her on and "be a part of it" is welcome to do so. I won't be doing it. She's now no better than any other NDSU-CKS player.

What are we going to do about this Chaves? Nothing as usual?

She might find out the grass isn't always greener. They have a great freshman in Frost that she might be playing behind.  Paul Bruns got freshman of the year and in his senior year he wasn't even starting.  Onward to other players. I lost alot respect for Josie.

yes, it's been a tough day. BUT, I will say - I've had fantastic conversations with Dane Jackson the past couple of days, and I feel really good about his vision and the future of the program. Losing guys to the portal is tough, but I think it's also worth noting that sometimes that creates more opportunity for newcomers to shine, and for current guys to step up. We (the collective and UNDAAF) are working our tails off in unison with the coaches to get to where we all want to be - winning a national championship!

Don't get me wrong - I'm not a rose-colored glasses all the time guy. We may have more rough patches in front of us. But, long-term, I believe we're in a good spot to get back to where we all want to be.....and much of that is because of support from guys like you.
I shy away from sharing numbers in terms of what we’re paying players, simply because I don’t want that info to leak to our competition. But I can tell you that in hockey and football – we will be very competitive this year and that will just continue to grow.

Chavez has been nothing short of incompetent but having your home grown talent basically give the WBB program and the athletic department the middle finger is inexcusable.  The optics of this is the worst thing under Chavez leadership to date

I think words like "traitor" and "lost respect" would be warranted if it was just her or maybe one other player that entered the portal. But when almost the entire team chooses to leave and play elsewhere or maybe not even end up playing at all, I think that deserves a hard look at what is really going on behind the scenes with the new coach and why all these players are willing to disrupt their lives and schooling to go anywhere but here, even when it means abandoning the goal and dream you had wanting to play for the home team.

This is a problem the old coach caused in MHO, the new coach will hopefully turn this around.

I wonder what Mal feels like today when she sees a new bison from grand forks

She can do what she wants, that is what the NCAA has allowed. Players to freely up and leave with no consequences. It just hurts so much because of her being a Grand Forks native and I thought bled Kelly green.

How do you know what players will be getting, who is sharing this information?
