brianvf Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 2nd breakaway for Perron with neither going in. Quote
brianvf Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 6-4 now couple screen goals for Miami Quote
SiouxScore Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Some sloppiness at times but overall a good workmanlike win. Need to jump on them again tomorrow and give a bad team no reason to believe. Quote
bcblues Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Really! 6-4 final 4 goals on 13 shots: There is something to improve on! Quote
Wilbur Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Yikes.....6-4. And that's a unique game. Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 You think Perssons was trying to make his old team feel better 1 Quote
brianvf Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 6-4 Final 42-13 SOG Couple screened goals for Miami that I'm sure Persson would like back. But a win is a win. And the final score doesn't show the true gameplay IMO. Persson's save % took a dive on this one... Quote

Wilbur Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Three points. That's all that matters. No let down tomorrow. 3 Quote
scpa0305 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Bonehead lapses were odd…crushed the tendys good save percentage 1 Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Learning moment tonight no letting off the gas 1 Quote
burd Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Hard for the goalie to stop some of those tipped and screened shots. Need to block more of them. Quote
jk Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 If they're missing some important players, I don't think Miami actually sucks. They didn't have many shots in the first, but they had some dangerous looks that could have been goals. I think they'll win some league games this year ... Just hopefully not this weekend. Blake turning up ice is getting embedded in my brain alongside images of the other greats. The odds of something electric happening are pretty high. 2 Quote

You completely dominate a game for like 50 minutes, and all it takes is a few bad shifts to make things sour. I usually think of "bad shift" as one where the other team maintains possession in our zone for an extended time, not a shift where a shot from the point is screened and/or tipped. Two of those long shots came after very short possession. You like to see more of them blocked, though. Quote

I really don’t think we see him until the U18 exhibition. Not saying it’s what I would like to see, but just based on how I’ve seen Berry use goalies. Quote
