5-0.  Nobody had them 5-0.  Doesn't feel like it with how they played the last two weeks.  The punt team today was a tragedy.  Back to back weeks they've gift wrapped points for their opponent at the end of the half.

Typical viking fan in me has to dwell on stuff like clock management.

Big game with Detroit in two weeks.

A-Aron did not play well today...give the Vikes D some credit there.  Their offense looked lost without Jones in the second half.

I get that they couldn't run the ball, but you've got to milk the clock and shorten the game.  Same story against Green Bay in the 2nd half.  Keep the clock running, first downs are gravy, but the way the offense looked we needed Bubba ball.  Run it three times and make them go a long ways to score.  Defense saved them.

Home vs. Lions......Off a bye week they've got to win this game at home.  Will be a battle.

@ The Rams.....won't be easy, but the Rams are extremely banged up.  Thursday night game.

Home vs. Colts.....Win the games you're supposed to win.

@ The Jags.....Win the games you're supposed to win.

@ The Titans....Win the games you're supposed to win.

@ The Bears.....Flores vs. the Rookie.  We aren't good at Soldier Field.

Home vs. Cards....Kyler and company can throw it around the yard a bit.

Home vs. Falcons....Kirk may have this one circled....

Home vs. Bears......Win the games you're supposed to win.

@ Seattle.......On a positive note Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson aren't in Seattle anymore.

Home vs. Packers.....Toss up.....

@ The Lions.....If the team wins the game they are supposed to and plays well, this game could not matter.

Estimated Record......13-4.  Not sure if thats enough to get the #1 overall seed in the NFC.

The Minnesota Vikings have acquired running back Cam Akers from the Houston Texans in a deal that involves a late-round pick swap, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Houston receives a 2026 conditional sixth-round pick for Akers and a 2026 conditional seventh-round selection, Pelissero adds.

A little backup insurance in case Aaron Jones is still dealing with hip injury?

The Lions are good.  Vikings lucky to have the lead in the 4th quarter after the fumble recovery.  Felt like a game they could steal, but the drive before the game winning kick was just atrocious.  Don't give them the ball back, instead they went Rudy and....run....run...incomplete.

Short week now before LA on Thursday.

That was the Lions missing their best defender.

They are the best team in the NFC right now.  Sounds like they may be getting Crosby from the Raiders now as well.  Wonder if the Vikings are thinking of any big moves before the trade deadline.

Yeah, missed a face mask but that didn't lose that game.  Stafford only pressured 4 times?  4?  With Kupp and Nacua you're screwed there guys....sorry.

I'm fine with KOC calling the plays but someone needs to do a better job of getting in his ear on the game management side of things.  Uff it's bad at times, borderline terrible.

Darrisaw getting hurt is the same play calling karma that got Kirk.  What are we doing there?  Now without him for a few weeks at least.
