Everyone is gone if they get scratched?  I'd hope not.  But who knows.
I'd hope they both stick around and keep getting better to earn more ice time as upperclassmen.

Well ya, that’s the response. But in this day and age…things are different.

Bama just had 9 underclassmen hit the portal

Western was leading the NCHC in goals hell of an effort this weekend to shut them down

Their top line especially.  Not a point all weekend thus far...that's insane.

Might have been the best 3rd period effort we've seen from the team all year.

I think best 3rd period by far. We generated offense while being very defensively responsible. Excellent.

For sure.
Outshot them 12-7 and outscored them 2-0.
That's a great way to close out a 1-0 game.  ;)

Frisch's stellar play made a huge difference this series as did DeRidder's.

All the players had very active sticks.  Those sticks took away passing and shooting lanes.

Just hope the little Frischs made it out of Lawson...  Looked like a very .. painful end of the game.

This weekend was actually hockey that I recognize from Berry's era at UND.  Not crazy about the passive box on defense (would like to see them challenge a little more), but at least it is working now.

Can't believe they kept the top scoring team in the nation to 2 combined goals in 2 games.
And kept their potent top line off the scoresheet all weekend.  No team has done that all year to them.  Very impressive.

Team defense looked much better than what we saw last weekend.
And DeRidder...with a .962 save % for the weekend and a shutout to boot.  Might be NCHC Goalie of the Week with those numbers.

Rest up, heal up.  Keep it rolling against Lindenwood in the 2nd half.
A solid performance there could put them back above .500, which would be huge.

Talked to Costantini tonight; he said he just got shaken up on that hit last night but otherwise was healthy. Sitting out tonight was just precautionary.
