I don't think it is that weird....   comparing the noise / atmosphere of and 18k NHL rink to the Ralph and throwing in a backhanded compiment at the same time.

If a UND player commented about playing at crowdless rink and compared it to playing DU everyone would chuckle...

My thought as well.

Koster of the Gophers really sold a hit to get the misconduct. Dropped like he got sniped from the rafters.

Must have picked it up watching World Cup soccer.

So the league is a total joke, Loheit launched himself at the St. Cloud player and looked like a vicious hit high, but a two minute penalty. If no league suspension comes it proves the league is a joke.

Wow, UNO shuts out WMU, 2-0.  Broncos don't get shutout very often this season.
UNO goalie with 40 saves, impressive.

Yes, the other conference games sure aren’t going our way.

A DU player (Magnus Chrona, I think) was interviewed after the game and was asked about the experience of playing at Ball Arena. His response included, “It’s better than North Dakota.”

It seemed like a really weird thing to say.

Yes, odd to say, but in reality a compliment.

St. Thomas and Arizona State tied 2-2

The rare penalty shot from goalie interference taking a goal away. Honestly should have been two penalties instead of a penalty shot.

6-3, Duluth. Empty netter, thanks to the St. Cloud puck carrier who fell down as he was passing the puck to the Duluth player. Thanks for nothing, Jan Brady.

Remember when Merrimack was up to #3 in the PWR?
They've now sunk to #22.

At one point there were 6 Hockey East teams in the top 15. Now it’s just BU. Crazy how volatile PWR can get in just a short span of time.

Yes, and the positive is that now the NCHC has 4 teams in the top 15, so there will be opportunities to move up the rest of the regular season and playoffs.  We play 3 of those for sure, but it has now become put up, or shut up.  Time for talk has long since passed.

Yep.
This team can play with those top teams, they just need to get consistent and continue with the improved defensive and goaltending.

I think you have that backwards…World Cup soccer players have been watching videos of Gopher players drawing penalties for years now.
