coachdags Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 sounds like they are playing hard...but can not score down by 15 with 10 minutes to play Quote
coachdags Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 its over 70-47...7 minutes left..split on the road is good...we need to shoot better Quote
teamsioux Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Just another example of how far the NCC men have fallen, only one team would make the regional tourney if play started today. In past years the NCC teams would beat up non-conference competition and have multiple teams with only a 2-3 losses at this time of year. NORTH CENTRAL 1. Northern State 9-1 8-1 2. Fort Hays State 9-1 7-0 3. Winona State 10-4 10-2 4. Minnesota State Mankato 14-3 11-3 5. Nebraska-Kearney 8-2 8-2 6. Mesa State 8-5 6-4 7. Fort Lewis 6-5 5-3 8. Concordia-St. Paul 8-4 8-3 9. Metro State 7-4 6-2 10. South Dakota 10-3 6-3 Quote

UND92,96 Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 While I'm not normally into moral victories, pushing the best team in the NCC to the limit on the road is a big improvement for this team. A month ago, this game had 30-point loss written all over it. We have to win at St. Cloud, though. They're struggling right now. At least our win at Omaha is looking better. The red Mavs beat USD tonight in Omaha. Quote

BringDeanBack Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Hmmm, the Bison just knocked off Wisconsin in basketball and the Sioux get beat by teams like Minot State. Two programs going two very different directions. Quote

teamsioux Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Hmmm, the Bison just knocked off Wisconsin in basketball and the Sioux get beat by teams like Minot State. Two programs going two very different directions. Two very different coaching staffs! Miles has immediately improved three straight programs, one has to wonder how long he will stay around the way he can recruit. If he can recruit to Fargo, especially considering they have nothing to play for...who knows what he can do somewhere else. Quote
Cratter Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Two very different coaching staffs! Sadly, that would be his point. Quote
BringDeanBack Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Sadly, that would be his point. This Sioux mens team would be a .500 team playing in the Dac 10. I don't think that is an exaggeration. Quote
SiouxMeNow Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 and the Bison aren't playoff ELIGIBLE until President Clinton is in her "sophomore" season;) LET'S move on! Geez - they're 2-3 with 6 of 8 of their next games at home...and UND at least has SOMETHING to play for! Quote

The Sicatoka Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 They do?? Yeah, post-season, NCAA tourney, like all of those glorious Bison post-season football games in the Fargodo ... oh, yeah, sorry. I mean like the Sioux in the Alerus Center, you know, NCAA playoffs, post-season. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 They do?? Why don't you add something of substance to the discussions? Your constant smack has really gotten old. Quote
