Quick reference, right now:

Higher seeds leading series:
COL v NAS 4-0 (COL advances)
TOR v TBL 3-2
CAR v BOS 3-2
FLA v WAS 3-2
CGY v DAL 3-2

Lower seeds leading series:
STL v MIN 3-2
LAK v EDM 3-2
PIT v NYR 3-2

COL done in four; everyone else going at least six.

And NAS has to decide what to do with Forsberg ...

What a complete embarrassment tonight from the Wild. Elimination game and they lay an egg. Talbot let’s in a weak one in the first and it was all downhill from there. Typical Minnesota pro sports team. It truly is Loserville USA

Yikes, not a good sign when the Vikings are the best playoff performers in the state…

But on the positive side, another loss by the Vikings, and the Wild will match the best playoff record in the state of Minnesota!

Felt bad for Talbot (before puck drop even) for getting inserted into the series under the elimination game circumstances.  He should have gotten a start in one of the first three games, not come in after a long layoff and the Wild in need of a savior.  Seemed like a desperate move on the coaching staff's part.

He should of started game 1. He was playing so well at the time

...and if they did that, people would have been questioning them as to why they picked up an experienced guy like Fluery if they weren't going to use him in the playoffs.

So then just throw him in game 6 for the first time on the road in an elimination game. Evanson messed up. Plus he complained how the special teams sucked all year and took none of the blame for it. They canned him tomorrow I wouldn’t blink

The Wild were a fun team to watch this season but they weren’t built to have a long run in the playoffs.  Their defense and penalty kill were just average and their defensive net front play was somewhere between average and brutal.  Hopefully they can improve in those areas or next years playoffs will be a waste of time.

Lucky to make the playoffs next year. And their penalty kill was anything but average. It’s was downright awful
