And then again the following weekend to make it to the FF.
One of those fan bases won't be at the FF, and that's good to know.  ;)

I had to look to see if St. Cloud was close enough to Omaha that tanking the last two game to get Western Michigan was possible. Nope

So you’re saying the penalties weren’t warranted?

Know what I’m saying is Denver committed at least six blatant penalties in the third period. We are talking open ice stuff here, not in the scrum. At least 5 minute major, elbow to the head call the two. Omaha’s penalties were warranted. Most of them were based on frustration.

None of the Michigan teams (Michigan and Michigan State) have won the B1G regular season.

Minnesota won the B1G regular season

I'm happy that the Gofers won the BIG? #hateUmich

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A Western Michigan University hockey captain could face time in prison for allegedly raping a student in December of 2021. This isn’t the first time he’s been accused of sexual assault.

For the first time, the mother of another alleged victim is coming forward and sharing her story.

Joi Labadie, of Kalamazoo, spoke exclusively with News 8 on Saturday afternoon. She said her daughter was sexually assaulted by Paul Washe and two other WMU hockey players at a party in August of 2017. She was 18 at the time and played soccer for the university.

All I can say is yikes, WMU. Just awful. Someone mentioned earlier that maybe Andy Murray retired for reasons more than what was explained, definite possibility with this coming to light.

CHN's "probability of making NCAA" matrix:
https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/probabilityMatrix.php

See that red "10%" by Duluth?
There's a 10% chance Duluth could end the year with an under 0.500 winning percentage. They'd have PWR numbers and a high rating in KRACH, but be tournament ineligible because of overall record being under 0.500!

Well, next week the focus will be benefitting Omaha, so expect a lot of major reviews on UND.  The stark penalty difference between Denver and the rest of the league certainly is substantial.

That’s why Denver is my least favorite team in the NCAA. It’s a crock that they get to operate unimpeded by the rulebookThat’s why Denver is my least favorite team in the NCAA. It’s a crock that they get to operate unimpeded by the rulebook

Does the <.500 rule come into play if a <.500 team wins their conference tournament?

No, it is used for selecting the at-large teams along with other criteria. AQ teams, Conference tournament champions are automatic no matter how their season went. "Just win baby!"

No, any team is eligible if they win the conference tourney.  CC or Miami could make the NCAA's if they win the FF.

You win a conference tournament you get that conference's automatic bid to the NCAAs ... key word being automatic
