they need reiger with smith....

I agree.  Yon doesn’t fit with Simo and Smith on that line.  Gotta have another gritty grinder with those two.

Had plenty of chances to get the win tonight. Gersich really had some good looks and I thought he would get one tonight. Bitzer was very good as he has been for 4 years for Bemidji. Little bit unlucky with both of the Beaver goals being redirects and both maybe going off UND players, 2nd one did for sure. Didn't see much of Adams, Mismash, and Kawaguchi in the 3rd/OT.

Kawaguchi (I think) has it figured out compared to pre-Thanksgiving.  I think once he finds the net, it could be flood gates.  Maybe not this year.  I'm ok with that.  Mismash, as a second rounder, has been non-existent in that same time frame.

Mismash hasn’t done anything since he didn’t make the WJC.  However he was also curiously taken off the scoring lines.

I agree. I wasn’t a big Guch fan at the start, but I think he’s coming around. Also agree on Mismash disappearing. All of this is why Guch is on the 2nd line and Mismash was on the 4th. I don’t think the consistency is there.

Right!  I really wanted him to have a 7-8 point weekend in St. Cloud right before break.  Didn't happen.

I think Gooch has the potential to turn in to a hell of a playmaker.

Yeah, its hard to understand what the coaches see compared to what we see.  Back in October, we saw a line of Adams, Bowen, and Jones.  They were lights out for 3-4 games!  Haven't seen that line combo since.  Last year, Pogo was lined up with JJ and Hoff for a 4 game stretch, and they were untouchable.  Never saw that combo again the rest of the season. So, who knows...

No question!  These of course are just my opinions based on what I see.  I'm not even gonna pretend to be a siouxsports.com expert.

I'm no expert myself, it just seems like he sees the ice different then everyone else. As the years go by, given the right line mates, I think he can be an amazing playmaker. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not.

Once the line combo goes dry for a few games, they switch it. That’s what happened last year with Pogo, JJ and Hoff.

This year they switch it when someone gets injured. With Gardner saying he’s out about 4 weeks, we’ll be switching lines again!

How did Gardner go from day to day to 4 weeks? Tim and Ole said 4 to 6.

I’m not sure but I got 4 weeks from Gardner himself on the intermission interview with Ole.

He was brutal tonight..........and that's being generous.

Adams wasn't good either.
