SWSiouxMN Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 The attendance for women's hockey for the season was an average of 808. This was the first year since 2009-10 that it didn't get over an average of a 1000 and this is the 5th straight year attendance has dropped. The 3 playoff games were a big negative to attendance, usually they are a slight negative to neutral effect. Quote
WiSioux Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Realistically who is out there for a head coach if Idalski is out? Quote

What about that coach who got let go/fired by Duluth women's team (saying she got fired for reasons other than her/her team's performance, is she available? Oh wait, following her departure Duluth had a huge turn-around this season after several years of slip-sliding away. Never mind. Quote

Rory Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 I said long ago to get rid of Idalski and I got ridiculed for it. SMH 3 Quote

Five-HoleFrenzy Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Can't hurt to look at the assistants for Wisconsin and Minnesota. UND has the facilities to attract such a candidate. If Muzerall goes from the Minnesota staff to Ohio State you have to believe that an opening at UND would be just as appealing, if not more so. Another thought would be the current girls head coach of Edina, Sami Reber, who was an assistant on UMD's staff for a year before taking the Edina head coach position for this year and whose team just won the State AA tournament. 2 Quote
