SIOUXFAN97 Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 can u imagine what would happen if ATO rented a crane and tried to do bungee jumping in the alley behind their house like the old ATO did during rush week in 1992(?)......lawyers would be driving in from minneapolis looking for lawsuits. Quote
Cratter Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 ....Watch the CFL championship on CBS Sports right now and former UND player Brady O. But dang it's bad...like watching D3 football. So bad it's highly entertaining. Lots of penalties, dropped balls, and turnovers! Quote

KW is unimaginative and rounds are way too long if you can get on at all. But it has a new-ish irrigation system, unlimited public water and grass that isn't decades old so it stays in decent shape. Lincoln gets a ton of play and is perfect for what it is. Great for beginners and young kids. Weather this winter messed up some areas in courses in the valley and across the state with winter kill. It is what it is but not a permanent issue. 1 2 Quote

Yup, now it's just the conditions that are consistently inconsistent. Gotta start over with the greens, they can't seem to figure them out. Sounds like irrigation is a project in the near future as well. GFCC is so good when it's good but pretty bad when it's bad. 2 Quote

Such accurate statements. This spring, and even a few weeks ago, it was so bad relative to what one would expect and compared to where it has been in the past. Irrigation is definitely needed but they need to do something to get rid of the poa annua grass that's mixed in out there and go with a more climate favorable setup. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Took a golf class at ray Richard’s back in about 1980. It didn’t help my game. I seem to remember the course was in good shape back in the day. Quote
