Hopefully he and the rest of the team are sharper tomorrow night. It was NOT Cams fault. At least 2 of those goals were because his team in front of him were AWOL. 1 Quote

Oxbow6 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Anyone know if #27 is going to show up this season? If one is to play a top 6 role at least don't be a liability. 4 Quote

stoneySIOUX Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Ughhhhh LJ missed wide on a garbage angle TWICE in OT. Turned offense into defense and led to the rush on the GWG. I'm normally not so critical of that kid, but good lord, hit the GD net from there. Literally the worst spot on the ice to miss wide like that. Ugh. 1 Quote

HIT THE NET!!! My wife can attest, I started screaming as soon as he took that shot because I knew it was turning into offense the other way. Sure as sh!t. Game over. Ugh. Quote
Cratter Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Team lacked chemistry for about 50 minutes of the game. Started to finally come around late. Quote

We looked lazy, or tired, or disjointed or any combination of the above for long stretches, which is NOT UND hockey. Hopefully it is a break adjustment that is now history. Quote
SiouxScore Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Sioux just really weren't sharp tonight more missed passes and miscommunications than we have seen in a long time. Still had chances to win I'm not quite sure how Gardner missed the wide open net and hit the crossbar on the nice setup from Boeser. Cam didn't look on top of his game tonight either. Omaha really thrives on the opponent making mistakes pretty much all their offense tonight happened off of Sioux miscues. Even though they had 7 penalties Omaha got away with a ton of hooking and holding especially in the first 2 periods was a little surprised how much quicker we were throughout the lineup as usually Omaha has a ton of speed. Would expect a crisper performance tomorrow night from the Sioux to get the split. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I'd bet money that we pump them pretty good tomorrow 1 Quote
bcblues Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 At the risk of earning the Captain Obvious moniker, we need to dig deep and get our business together for the game tomorrow night. Don't look back, but learn from the past? Is that being a hypocrite? Quote
yzerman19 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 We fell into the age old trap- we played their game, not ours...the master just reminded the student... 1 Quote

Our compete level was much lower than it was vs. Duluth or Denver. We were lacking jump for the better part of 54 minutes. Quote
Cratter Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Dudes a baller, not many goalies are going to stop his shot from that spot. It was a two on one breakaway. That's the part that shouldn't happen in OT. Quote
Cratter Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I'd have loved to taken our chances 3x3 against their "first collegiate start" goalie. Quote
ndlifer Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 The team hadn't played good competition in over a month and it showed 1 Quote
Irish Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Hopefully a wake-up call - some brutal turnovers Too many passengers on this bus - some people need to start pulling their weight 1 Quote
Boogieman Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Luke isn't scoring. Cam 's glove is weak. Say what you want. Boeser tried to be cute in our zone with the puck, and coughed it up for Omaha's first. Ausmus was bad...again. In fact Shaw was our best D-man all night. Our mucker lines were better than our scoring lines. Simonson's line was phenomenal tonight. And freshmen or not, it's time for Wilkie and Gersich to start owning some shifts. It's just a loss, though. Lots of hockey yet to be played. And as far as Ortega goes, he's a goal scorer, and he might make it to the next level. But it wont be for long. He's a suck hole with a good shot. Period! The guy didn't have two skates in his own zone all night. Quote
