Sioux94 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Lots of great college football games on today....thought we were heading for a victory today.....and was just loving college football today. This loss really screws things up. Quote
Dagger Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Judging by the radio broadcast, it is obvious why Studsrud was starting. It seems like every pass Bartels he threw was off target. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 under 1:30 now. Weber will take the penalty for delay of game Quote
siouxfan512 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Looks like UND will take yet another giant step backwards today. Winning out is the only playoff opportunity at this point. But these two losses pretty much negate the nice start we had this season. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 1:12 on the clock. Cue the Ryan Bartel Redemption tour. Seibel fair catches off the hop at the 16. Quote
Siouxperman8 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) really enjoyed the Eversport broadcast tonight. oh wait..... it never did work Edited October 18, 2015 by Siouxperman8 1 Quote
Irish Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I understand the injury situation and limits on talent and recruiting that Bubba has - but - what we are seeing that passes for "Bubba Ball" is just crap. At this time in his second year I at least expected an assignment sharp, mentally tough team that sometimes got beat on talent but didn't beat themselves and were tough to play against. I don't expect to be out-adjusted every half time and to pee winnable games down our leg. Missed blocks, poor execution - at some point that has to be on the coaches. Not impressed so far. Time for the team and coaches to figure it out. 1 Quote
Old Time Hockey Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Well I can go back to pretending I don't care about Sioux football. At least hockey season has started. Good luck selling tickets to the Alerus! 4 Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 1st down from the 16. No timeouts.Full hearts, clear eyes..Bartels overthrows Seibel on the left side. Georges not in the game. Quote
Siouxperman8 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Siebel has been invisible this year. Can't we get the ball to him? He was very effective last year Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 2nd and 10. 1:00 min to go.From the 'gun. Bartels runs to the 17, out of bounds. 55 seconds to go. No one open they say. Quote
gundy1124 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 2 minute offense for us.......that is a joke. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 3rd nad long from the 19. Bartels with pressure, completes to his left, to Stanley. 4th and 2 Quote
Siouxphan27 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 really enjoyed the Eversport broadcast tonight. oh wait..... it never did workI really enjoyed just imagining to myself how much we sucked in the 4th quarter. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 37 seconds... from the 24. Over the middle... incomplete. and that'll be your ball game. Quote
UNDBIZ Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Why the heck are we running 1 yard routes on 3rd and 7 with under a minute to go? Quote
Cratter Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 We all knew this team has never been built to play from behind. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 25-24 will be your final, not mine though. Quote
Sioux94 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Guess we will be playing for pride the rest of the season. Quote
shep Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) Didn't see it but gutted out listening to Sweeney (...And Bartles has his man at the 15 ... incomplete) and the color guy mentioned how we have been getting killed by any spread offense as we do NOT have the dudes to cover receivers one on one. I trust EVERY team sees that moving forward. Edited October 18, 2015 by shep corrected Quote

We're getting beat by the cellar of the Big Sky because our staff is incapable of making second half adjustments. Quote
Old Time Hockey Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) We are still a joke!On a positive note Boeser had a hat trick to lead the Sioux to victory with its #3 goalie in net. It wasn't pretty, but they found a way to win. Something we can't say about the football program right now. Edited October 18, 2015 by Old Time Hockey 3 Quote
