SWSiouxMN Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 So that's a first. Cave causes Gray to balk in a run Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Could Cleveland just please win so I can cheer harder for the Twins today. Just don't want Cleveland in a best of three. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Ohh my.....this is getting interesting in a hurry. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Okay. One more out in Chicago..... One more strike in Chicago..... Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 This would be on the epic Minnesota sports fails of all time if Minnesota finds a way to blow this after Chicago was down 10-1 in the bottom of the 8th. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Ohh boy.....thankfully crappy umpiring settled in and the Twins are central champs......wow. Quote

I'd say things broke about as well as you could hope as a Twin fan in this final week. Won the division and avoid New York, Chicago, and Cleveland in round 1. Not saying Houston is any sure thing by any means but I'd rather face them than any of the other 3 teams I mentioned. Quote

If they lose to Houston ain't no way they were going to beat the Tribe/Yankees/White Sox. Only two teams under .500 in the entire 16 team field and one of them is at Target Field on Tuesday. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I will say this. it got off to a shaky start for MLB, but they got through a season. kudos to them. 2 Quote

BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Wow, October ball is here. Twins and MLB made it through the shortened season. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 The Cubs have to take down the ChiSox because the Twins can't finish off the Reds. The beeping sound you heard yesterday was the Twins bus backing into the playoffs. Quote

Wilbur Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Ill take....The Rays, Oakland, Minnesota, and Cleveland. And then....the Dodgers, Reds, Marlins, and Cards. I'm glad Cleveland and the Yankees get each other. Perfect match-up to get rid of Cy Young or the evil empire. Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I'll go with Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Chicago, and Minnesota to advance in the AL. In the NL I'll take LA, San Diego, Atlanta, and Miami. Quote

Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Twins with 16 straight playoff losses. Atlanta could set the record for consecutive playoff series losses in a row if the Reds win. And then there are the Marlins. Who have never lost a playoff series. Quote
