Wilbur Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Rocco.....goodness.....you can't put Parker in against the Yankees. We can bitch and moan all we want about missed strike three, but Parker can't be in the game to begin that inning. Quote
Wilbur Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Ohh my Sano......ohh my...... What a bomb..... Quote

Hell they could have left the kid in for a 3rd inning, it couldn't have been worse that what was that 8th inning. Quote

Wilbur Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Castro has got to read the scouting report on Hicks.....loves first pitch fastballs..... Quote

Wilbur Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 What a game.....wow. Not the catch of the year though Bremer..... Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Tough loss, I thought Kepler had tied or won the game until Hicks robbed him. Quote
Wilbur Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Game tonight proved they aren't going to outslug the Yankees. There are a ton of hitters on both teams, but zero chance in a series against the Yankees with the pitching depth what it is. Its July 24th.....one week to see if they are serious about a chance at a WS. Quote
SiouxScore Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Hell of a game with a ton of back and forth. Parker was awful. The missed strike 3 call hurt but the response from the Twins was great. That ball Sano hit was absolutely smashed had to be close to 500 feet with where it landed. I wasn't really worried after Rogers walked the 9 hitter but don't know why they went after Hicks with a first pitch fastball. He has really struggled with breaking balls as a righty and that mistake cost them. Thought Kepler had swung the game back to the Twins but it just seemed to hang up there forever. The Twins have shown much better than I expected these last couple games against the Yanks, was really worried this weekend a sweep might be coming. Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Score two, give up four. The Yankees always seem to have an answer. Quote
