FerdaSioux Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Lewis and Lee sidelined, now our top AAA prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez is out with a recurring thumb injury. Sounds like it might just be the team being cautious but still disheartening with our history.
SiouxFan100 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Another bad day. 0-4 to start. Will we win a game this year?
Wilbur Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Harrison Bader the most valuable player on the team right now. 1-4, in a rain delay currently.
UNDMOORHEAD Posted April 3 Posted April 3 The Twins are currently tied for first place in the central.

Wilbur Posted April 29 Posted April 29 A month later and they've won 6 out of 7 games. Tough road trip this week. Cleveland then Boston. 1
Wilbur Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I like the bullpen. People are complaining about Varland being in that spot last night, but Varland has been really good for the Twins so far this year. If Jax gets to form, and Stewart doesn't get hurt like he always does, you only need 5 innings out of a Paddack or a SWR before you bridge the game to Duran in the 9th.
sioux rube Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Buxton has just hit the first ever cycle at Target Field https://thescore.com/s/31772463 1
SiouxFan100 Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Still watching the twins. Appears they just don’t have the players to make the playoffs this year. Warning track team. I do hope they make some moves before the trade deadline.

sioux rube Posted July 29 Posted July 29 MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Twins placed All-Star center fielder Byron Buxton on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to a rib injury. The move, retroactive to Sunday, comes after Buxton was removed from the Twins' game against the Washington Nationals in the seventh inning on Saturday with soreness in his side. An MRI on Sunday revealed irritation in the cartilage in his rib cage. Buxton is in the midst of a career season. In 85 games, Buxton is hitting .282 with 23 home runs and 59 RBIs. He's also 17 for 17 in stolen bases.
sioux rube Posted July 30 Posted July 30 The Philadelphia Phillies are nearing a deal to acquire closer Jhoan Duranfrom the Minnesota Twins, sources told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Minnesota will receive right-hander Mick Abel and catcher Eduardo Tait in return for the hard-throwing right-hander, ESPN's Buster Olney reports. Abel and Tait were ranked as the Phillies' Nos. 4 and 6 prospects by MLB.com, and both are top-100 prospects. Duran has been informed of the deal, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

SiouxScore Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Thought we should have got more back for Duran especially with 2+ years left so no need to deal him. Bader to Phillies as well and Stewart to Dodgers for 28 year old LHH OF James Outman, Twins already have a lot of LHH outfielders. Surprised they were able to move Correa. Columbe now moved to Rangers.
SiouxFan100 Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Won’t recognize the team anymore. Hopefully we remain competitive. Tough profession. 1
