Wilbur Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Thursday we play ball in KC. P-Pablo C-Jeffers 1B-Santana 2B-Julien 3B-Royce SS-Correa LF-Wallner CF-Buxton RF-Kepler Bench/DH: Vasquez, Margot, Farmer, Castro Bullpen: Jax, Stewart, Okert, Jackson, Alcala, Funderburk, Alcala, Duarte Other Rotation: Ryan, Ober, Paddack, Varland They are really going to miss Duran and Thielbar right away. Big early season test for Jax and Stewart as they will be heavily relied upon. I'm of the opinion that they should make Varland into a bullpen guy, but they think he can start. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 28 Posted March 28 -Pablo goes 7. -Royce goes deep. Then to the IL. -Kepler does nothing, then gets hurt. -Stewart and Jax hold on. 161 games to go. Thankfully @SiouxBoys here to keep my emotions in check. Well at least try too... 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted March 31 Posted March 31 2-0. Joe Ryan with a good performance on the hill. Bullpen was good too. Ober tomorrow. Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted April 4 Posted April 4 In what world would any manager think it's a good idea to bat Kepler 4th in the lineup. 2 Quote

Wilbur Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Twins beat the Dodgers today. Once Duran gets back I think the bullpen on the backside is solid. Okert, Stewart, Jax, Thielbar, Duran. Alcala has grown a bit. Now if they can just score runs.... Quote
SiouxBoys Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Considering the offense has been historically bad, the record isn't too terrible. Once the bats come around, they should be fine. Quote
Green Banner Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I really like Wallner but im getting sick of watching him strikeout looking and then shake his head at the ump 1 Quote
Wilbur Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Twins have got to win game 1 here today. Too many chances. Bases loaded and nobody out.... Alcala has saved them twice.... Quote
Wilbur Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Twins score four runs without a hit... 8-4. Waller facing 53 mph heat coming.... Quote
Wilbur Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Wallner finally goes deep....off a position player. A win is a win.... Quote
Wilbur Posted April 18 Posted April 18 It's early.....it's early.....it's early..... I always care too much before June....I'm a terrible fan. Quote

Wilbur Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Three outs from a sweep of the white sox. Gotta beat the bad teams. Well done. Quote
