planetearth
So your team wins a national championship and the first place you post is on UND fan site? You feel so inferior you need to come here and try and rub it in - what about your true rival SDSU - gonna go post there too? You just finished a great 4-year run and you top it off by showing more of your immaturity and lack of class. Off topic: ever considered a username change to PMSioux? Evening posts... siouxjoy
NDSU doesn't need to win in order for your fan base to make UND football appear to be irrelevant. They do it to themselves by calling FCS football a joke, JV, not truly important because it isn't FBS, and by atrocious attendance numbers Yup, those two people on a message board have influenced the perception of an entire fan base. Just calling it how I see it. how many more conferences not taking part in the playoffs is it gonna take to realize that there huge issues with fcs football (and the fcs to fbs step ups)....if the ndac would've done this ten years it would have been quite the feat but now its just a little watered down...
Cratter
Granted Youngstown State only won three FCS championships in a row but it was a lot harder in those days.

Cratter
The team with the most d2 titles is no longer in d2. The team with the most FCS titles is no longer in the FCS.

The conferences not participating in the playoffs have never had a conference member win a national championship. Those conferences not participating is the opposite of watering down the playoffs. A !@#!$ MEAC team only takes the spot of an at large team from a power conference.

tjamz
So let's say FCS is watered down, what does that day about UND that they can't even make said watered down tournament in this less than prestigious subdivision?

tjamz
And yes, there are teams that have moved on and moved up. I get that. That doesn't mean that all the sudden they took all the talent out of this level. Far from it. Though I suppose you could argue that bringing in cellar dwellers like UND and USD did cheapen things a little.
