bcblues Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 That should take the wind out of their sails. Quote
brianvf Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Leading the nation in shorties. We've got to be up there in dman scoring as well... Quote
brianvf Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 5-1 Final Sweep in Madtown. Undefeated on the road thus far. Good weekend! Quote
bcblues Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Good solid series for the Sioux. Keep the momentum going! Quote
FightingSioux4 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Late to the party...did the boys wear the black sweaters tonight? Nope! Quote
farce poobah Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Kohl Center would have been really quiet at the end if not for a great turnout of noisy UND (Sioux) fans. Well done. Quote
FightingSioux4 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Good solid series for the Sioux. Keep the momentum going! Awesome Sweep! I would, however, like them to up their SOG's..... Quote
SiouxTupa Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I thought Wisconsin looked better for a while tonight, but that 3rd goal just deflated them. Good for und to really pounce! Sweep! Quote
808287 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Solid third period, good to see them tack on a few goals late. Miami should provide a good challenge. Quote
UNDPUCKS Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Good to keep the BADgers winless. Pathetic looking stick salute to the Sioux fans from the BADgers. Keep it rolling boyz. Wish we had been there. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Good game to watch. As another poster said, that Badger own goal absolutely killed any mojo the Badgers had and the floodgates opened as a result. I really liked the WPT broadcast. The commentators were an absolute riot to listen to. Wish Midco's play by play guy and color guy had the same kind of chemistry...wouldn't have to have them on mute. Quote
runaroundsioux Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Aw c'mon. Kober is just as knowledgeable as Rob Andringa. It's just that Andringa can speak english and complete a sentence. 3 Quote
SiouxTupa Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Record or not, it's very rare for a Sioux team to sweep in Wisconsin. Wins are wins, and if they find their game in the 2nd half, they could be good for PWR. Quote
bcblues Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Traditional circle of sticks? Only at home Quote
SiouxScore Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Good sweep even though it was kind of a sloppy game. Not sure how the ice conditions were but the puck really seemed to take some weird bounces and stick on players at times. Wisconsin was able to negate some of the Sioux speed at times with a lot of hooking and holding going uncalled. Watching tonight I can see why Thompson hasn't been in the lineup consistently as he was up and down and needs to find more consistency. I thought it looked like Panzarella hadn't played a game all year as he seemed to struggle with little things like gap control and stick positioning. Maybe it is Pattyn just getting healthier but I thought he had more jump tonight and looked close to what he played like last year. Nick Schmaltz showed just how good his vision is on the pass to Caggiula and good to see Caggiula finish it. Zane was solid again with a couple real athletic saves. I think Olson brings another element to this forward group that we need so hopefully he is back in the lineup Friday night. Quote
siouxjoy Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I really liked the WPT broadcast. The commentators were an absolute riot to listen to. The comments about swinging his stick into the bench while skating by and that the color green still sets him off were hilarious! Quote
Stromer Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Only at home Pretty sure he meant the TCOS the Badgers did tonight after being swept. Quote
MafiaMan Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Pretty sure he meant the TCOS the Badgers did tonight after being swept. Yes, I was pretty sure that WI had joined the ranks of teams doing a TCOS after a home series (some do it after every home game) and what it must have looked like because the only fans left at the Kohl Center when the clock hit 0:00 were all wearing green. Quote
runaroundsioux Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 TCOS-LOL Some teams do it after every game, win or lose. The Sioux only do it after a home sweep. That's what makes it special. Quote
JaySioux Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 So dumb to do a stick salute after you get beat....let alone get swept. Ridiculous.....GET OFF THE I E AT THAT POINT! Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 No short handed goals - fire hak. Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Parks only picks up 2 points - fire hak. Quote
