Dustin Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 One of the best efforts of the year I would say. At least thru two sets. Lexi and Anna look back to their old selves. Julia K with some good swings too. Quote
Dustin Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 Little bit of a step back in set 3. Let UNC shoot off seven straight to blow a four point lead. Hopefully the girls can finish in four. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Stereotype much! Why yes... yes I do. And BTW...at four hundred posts into this thread that is your ONE contribution...well played. NEXT! Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Big win for UND. Takes it in 4 over UNC. 1st win ever at home vs UNC. Quote
nodak651 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Watched it on fsn in Wisconsin! Would not have been able to catch it online today either. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 My daughter plays so we enjoy going to the matches. She is a huge fan of Nikki. Quote
No1siouxfan Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I thought that they looked really good yesterday, there were some really tough digs and they always seemed to keep coming up with them. The volleys just kept on and on, such an exciting match to watch. Quote
darell1976 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 4 games left North: UND 9-3 Idaho 9-3 UNC 8-4 UM 6-6 EWU 5-7 MSU 2-10 South: ISU 11-1 * clinched playoff spot NAU 8-4 SUU 5-7 PSU 5-7 Sac St 2-10 WSU 2-10 Top 8 get in, no one is eliminated yet Quote
No1siouxfan Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 So, with our history of lackluster performances on the road, how are you feeling about playoffs? We seem to have a bit of a renewed spark, I hope they can keep it rolling into playoffs! Quote
gfhockey Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I cannot divulge what the GOBC thinks of this situation/ Quote
gfhockey Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Check the Gobc thread for an explanation Quote
darell1976 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 EWU @ NAU Idaho @ SUU UM @ UNC MSU @ UND PSU @ ISU Sac @ WSU Gotta hope for UND, SUU, UM, EWU, PSU to win. Quote
Dustin Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Tonight is probably the best chance for a team to hand ISU a second loss on the conference season. Even so, it's pretty much a lost cause as far as winning/hosting the Big Sky goes for UND this year. ISU would have to lose 3 more times in 4 games, and with the likes of Sac St. and Weber St. on their schedule, I don't see that happening. We can still establish second seed though, which would be a good deal. I would like to stay out of the dogfight of the 3-6 or 4-5 matchup in the conference tourney. Quote
Dustin Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 UND takes a 2-0 lead into the intermission against Montana St. Quote
HeScores! Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Why is Emily Thompson no longer on the roster? Quote
jjensen Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Why is Emily Thompson no longer on the roster? Isn't she the one who quit to play basketball? Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Weber wins in 5 Idaho rallies from 2-1 down to win in 5 Updated Standings (all together to show current seedings) 1) ISU 12-1 2) UND 10-3 3) Idaho 10-3 (UND currently holds tiebreak due to head to head, still 1 meeting left) 4) UNC 9-4 5) NAU 9-4 (UNC holds tiebreak due to head to head 1-0) 6) Montana 6-7 7) SUU 5-8 (holds tiebreak over EWU and PSU due to head to head (2-0), travels to PSU next week 8) PSU 5-8 (holds tiebreak over EWU due to head to head 9) EWU 5-8 10) Weber State 3-10 Sac State and Montana State are eliminated Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Weber wins in 5 Idaho rallies from 2-1 down to win in 5 Updated Standings (all together to show current seedings) 1) ISU 12-1 2) UND 10-3 3) Idaho 10-3 (UND currently holds tiebreak due to head to head, still 1 meeting left) 4) UNC 9-4 5) NAU 9-4 (UNC holds tiebreak due to head to head 1-0) 6) Montana 6-7 7) SUU 5-8 (holds tiebreak over EWU and PSU due to head to head (2-0), travels to PSU next week 8) PSU 5-8 (holds tiebreak over EWU due to head to head 9) EWU 5-8 10) Weber State 3-10 Sac State and Montana State are eliminated Nice write up of the situation! UND needs to finish in the top three, so it will be outside of Idaho State bracket. ISU will be tough at home, but a hot 4 or 5 seed may be able to knock them off so the championship game would a at a neutral court. Quote
Smoggy Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Pryor stated on radio this week if we lose one we will drop all the way to 5th due to losing all tie breakers. Granted that would be saying teams ahead of us won them all. Quote
Smoggy Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Sweep of Montana tonight. 1268 fans there for senior night. Gives average of 1038 and team finishes 11-1 at home. Quote
