passit_offthegoalie
That Petan sequence should be shown to youth hockey players....what not to do. Its already been said, but my favorite part is when Knight retaliates, and he acts like he got shot....lays down, but through divine intervention is able regain his health and gets two sucker punches in on Kristo. And if that wasn't enough......the action towards the official? Yeah, it wasn't good last night, but it was a linesman escorting him off.....not one of the head guys. How does the WCHA let him play tonight? At least he didn't perform a clean shoulder-to-shoulder check.
yzerman19
Kristo waving bye bye was classic- Boys better get their mean-on up for tonight. I think the season has worn on Drake, either that or he's been nursing an injury. I think Panzo plays tonight. If we have to send a message, he's the best guy to do it...we can live a game without him, and he is big and fought a few times in junior. Pattyn is tough, but I hate to lose him to open the final five

Oxbow6
If the WCHA doesn't, Pierson needs to do it; What a total melt down. I got a better chance of suiting up for the Wild this afternoon.
SiouxScore
My opinion for tonight is throw out pretty much the same lineup maybe could put in Caggiula for O'Donnell but it sounds like he has had a couple great weeks of practice, I would also put Mattson back in there tonight for Panz, but I kind of doubt we see that after how physical last nights game was. SiouxScore
I can't believe how many shots we consistantly give up - our team defense has definately taken a step back - the puck was in our end far too much for a playoff game at home. Time to get it together The number of shots really isn't a big deal it's the quality of shots that matter and in my opinion we did a pretty decent job of limiting the number of Tech's quality shots. ringneck28
If the WCHA doesn't, Pierson needs to do it; What a total melt down. Yeah, I don't for see Pierson sitting one of his best players. WCHA doesn't have the cahones to do it either.
burd
Via @Molsonontap on twitter, video of Kristo waving bye-bye http://vine.co/v/bdPOZeuutOj Gotta admit though, he has a pretty quick jab.
Oxbow6
I get Drake is in slump...but look at OD Mitch and Gaarder stats in last few weeks...not exactly lighting it up. Drake IMO just offers more of a complete game even struggling offensively than the 3 above.

runaroundsioux
I was really proud of Danny's discipline in that situation, but the wave goodbye made my night. Just watched it on FCS replay. Kristo smiles after the first one, which of course triggers the second one, then waves bye-bye. Smart, very smart. Senior experience right there. Wilbur
Via @Molsonontap on twitter, video of Kristo waving bye-bye http://vine.co/v/bdPOZeuutOj Looked some things up in the NCAA rulebook this morning.... A player shall not taunt an official. PENALTY—Misconduct, game misconduct or disqualification, at the discretion of the referee. Fighting or Punching - A player shall not fight an opponent or participate in a fight, on or off the playing surface. A punch thrown may be considered fighting. PENALTY—Disqualification. Guess the fighting one is unclear because it doesn't say anything about two deliberate punches right in front of the official.
petey23
I talked to Dave Starman after the first period and he thought it was a good clean hit as well. I think that was a very bad call. Yeah. I think he tweeted that he talked to youi and that you were in agreement on it being a clean hit.
siouxweet
is it just me or have the last few weeks seemed like how we played early in the season-getting outshot, outplayed and getting by with a win? if that is the case instead improving we are regressing.
Wilbur
Thought I'd add another game DQ to Mr. Petan. Rule 45 - Contact to the Head 45.1 Contact to the Head - A player shall not make direct contact from any direction with an opposing player’s head or neck area in any manner (including, but not limited to, with the shoulder, stick, elbow, etc.). PENALTY—Major and game misconduct or disqualification at the discretion of the referee.

Look back at the Mankato games also - we are giving up a ton of shots consistantly - We are spending way too much of the game in our zone
siouxweet
OMG.........go away! looking by your name it looks like you are a vikings fan. so in all your years of being a viking fan you have never stated a critical thing about the team or made an observation that was less than wearing purple colored glasses. even in the 1998 NFC championship game where they blew their opportunity to go to the super bowl or agianst new orleans when favre blew it? if you don't like what I have to say don't read them, but I have every right to come on here and give my opinion whether it it positive or not.
Oxbow6
Kristo was a man among boys last night. He willed UND to the W. IMO away too many passengers last night. If you're in the lineup cause you are a good practice player you need to do something in a game!

iluvdebbies
RT @Buccigross:" Send your best to Minnesota State's @djohnstone21 Broken clavicle, bruised lungs, bruised ribs, & separation of sternum after hit last nite" Wow..hope he make a quick recovery! But he is pretty lucky to have been hit in the head this hard and have all these injuries......but not have any head or neck injuries....he is very lucky! EDIT: I think we all know he meant Michigan Tech.
