Big Sky Seedings and Predicitions?

I am not sure how credible the CI Mid Major 25 is but I was looking at the rankings to see what conference championships I should follow. The following conferences look like they have two solid teams and could be games to watch in a couple of weeks:

West Coast: 1 Gonzaga vs 4 Saint Mary's or 15 BYU

MVC: 3 Wichita St vs 11 Creighton

Mid-American: 5 Akron vs 17 Ohio

Ohio Valley: 6 Belmont vs 13 Murrary State

WAC: 7 LaTech vs 16 Denver

Patriot: 9 Bucknell vs 23 Lehigh

Horizon: 12 Valpo vs 22 Detriot

Big Sky: 13 Montana vs 18 Weber St.

Summit: 20 SDSU vs 21 W. Ill

Each of these conferences have what appears to be great match-ups if they happen.. Looking forward to watching the Big Sky final no matter what team reaches the finals but most likely it will be Montana and Weber St. Hopefully UND can build a program to compete with those two programs.

I did not really follow Weber St until UND joined the Big Sky.. but a what a nice mid major program:

- nice historical track record (14 appearance 6-15 record in NCAA games)

- Sport Magazine ranked Top 100 D1 Basketball Programs All Time - Weber St - 51

- Nice crowds - last year average 5,800

- Great arena - http://community.weber.edu/deeeventscenter/facilityinformation/DEC%20Arena.htm

- Now potentially NBA rookie of the year http://www.nba.com/rookie-ladder/

We actually averaged 6,493 last year which was actually the first time since 2002 we averaged over 6,000. We are currently averaging 6,568

And not to toot our own horn, but Weber State owns the 22nd highest winning percentage in the nation.

ESPN also had Weber State at #39 in thier top 50 college basketball programs

Being a Carolina fan I still have nightmares about Harold "The Show" Arceneaux. Weber St. is definitely a worthy program and the class of the Big Sky. Montana has been strong recently and I remember they were a 16 seed in 1991 and got crushed a then-undefeated UNLV team. I also remember some pretty solid Montana State teams in the mid-80s. They had a guy named Kral Ferch who was an incredible dunker.

Ferch was a highlight reel, his best was when they played St. Johns in the NCAA tournament and he dunked on Walter Berry, one of the best forwards in basketball that year who they called "a man playing with boys", that was incredible.

Not yet, SUU is still at 8-9 and can win out and jump us for the 3 seed due to head to head (they would be 2-0 against us). However, we for sure have a top 4 seed lock up as of tonight.

SUU plays Monday at home, Thursday at UNC, and Saturday in Grand Forks. All the while, UND is off until next Saturday. We should have no excuse not to win against SUU and grab that No. 3 seed, which would be ideal for an extended postseason. BTW, are the Big Sky postseason games on Big Sky TV? I don't see why they wouldn't be, since they take place in a Big Sky venue, and since they're the most important games of the year.
