When was that taken,  I was there last week and that is not what I got when I ordered a Burrito, mine was sad looking.  Big yes, flavor was ok, but was very disappointed.

That looks like a glamor shot.  Mine didn't have any of the items shown on the side, just a burrito on tissue paper.  Seemed odd to have it on tissue paper since it was impossible to eat it with by hand, needed a fork, so I was fighting the paper the whole time.  Image vs. actual reminds of the scene from Fallen Down at Whamo Burger.  Don't get me wrong the Burrito was very good, just never looked like that. I am a former Foodservice guy and the presentation was a bit disappointing.  This is closer to what mine looked like, except it was leaking all over the paper.

The Grand Forks council will consider a liquor license for a new north side bar. Located in the old La Cantina site at 1730 13th Avenue North.  The business is seeking a beer/wine license and will be known as Cookie’s Lounge.

They closed multiple today across the country.

Months ago, I had heard them complaining about how they lost money on shrimp fest.

Edit: looks like they lost $11 million on endless shrimp and are on the edge of bankruptcy.

Yeah, that's a great idea. I wonder if Hornbachers would still have a problem with it? (sarcasm) :silly::p

So it's a symptom of a larger problem? Makes sense.

Bemidji's Super Buffet is pretty good.

Might be better than the Panda.

Go check out Seoul Kitchen in the Grand Cities Mall (formerly Moe's Kitchen) - transformed it into a stylish Asian restaurant.   Bit of a wait but the food was good and authentic.   Staff very nice and attentive - the Gojuchang wings are super sticky and delicous.   Great addition in a hidden location.  The croffles are a good dessert but they need to give you a knife!

The "Taproom" downtown is open....stopped there after the game on Saturday.  Talked to the owner...super nice guy.  Only him and his girlfriend were working and since it's so streamlined and help yourself having 30-40 people in there he/she didn't get swamped.

you walk in and give them your credit card...they swipe it and then give you a "credit card" that you hold over a sensor and then pick your drink(s) and fill up your glass yourself.....i think they have wine at the far end. they have a coolor of can bush and bud...if you want one just bring it up the host(ess) and they add it to your card manually....free snacks...free bottled water.

nice tv's.....open concept with a large counter top table in the middle that probably sits 16 or more....

said all the food equip is ready to go...just needs some staff on that one too..said it will "kinda serve yourself" like the beer...you will order on an app and then an alert your food is ready in the kitchen pickup area....

got a little loud...owner said he will be working on some sound deadeners?

when your done drinking you turn in your "taproom card" and they charge you and your done.

gonna be nice addition to drinkers row

*now if mikes pizza could move into the shitter/shower store on the corner...(the blue buidling)
