Also, I thought that Minot got colder than Fargo a lot of the winter...but whatever, its just a list. My first thought when looking at the list was what are those two cities in Vermont doing on here. I'm up for a brown Christmas (especially if it means fewer spring sandbags). Anchorage is on the Pacific (with the current flow coming from the equator). Fairbanks is the center of the state. Yes, Anchorage is on the coast and the warm ocean water that flows north towards Alaska keep the coast warmer and prevents most of the extreme cold.
