ChesterFritz90 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Smoke Blower the Cat doesnt count the Big 10 Network It doesn't seem like it, but the Big Ten Network is actually a regional network. It is only available in the regions in where there is a Big Ten team....the downside, there are so many teams that spread a great distance, that it actually covers a good amount of ground, it is the reason it covers 50+ million people. BTN IS A NATIONAL NETWORK: All BTN events are televised to a national audience, with BTN in more than 52 million homes in the U.S. and Canada. BTN also is available via BTN2Go International. BTN has more subscribers outside the Big Ten region than inside This comes right of their Website so if they're not national someone better tell them about it. According to them they have more viewers outside the Big 10 area than inside. Quote
Cratter Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Um yeah so conference realignment...glad to see the summit is stable for another year or two. Quote
zonadub Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 yeah, Cratter. with Oral Roberts Tulsa U returning, maybe the Summit's basketball auto bid will hold for a while. Wonder what Douple had to give them to get them to come back? Basketball tournament? Surely waived their entry fee and maybe paid their exit fee to the Southland? Quote

Jheria Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Means nothing if you don't win your conference tournament. I'm willing to bet that if _ND ever gets one you'll be first in line to pretend it means something Quote
darell1976 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I'm willing to bet that if _ND ever gets one you'll be first in line to pretend it means something It would be a good OOC win but no dance means no big deal. Quote

Siouxperfan7 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Since when did "we are playing more on a nationally televised network" become legitimate bragging rights material. Whatever happened to head to head results? 1 Quote

nd1sufan Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Since when did "we are playing more on a nationally televised network" become legitimate bragging rights material. Whatever happened to head to head results? Head to head results don't mean much if you don't win another game during the season. I guess you are saying NDSU would have been a top half football team in the Big 12 this year, since they beat K-State, who finished in the middle of the Big 12. Quote

Whatever happened to head to head results? You can have head to head I'll take conference and national titles. If winning an early season game is your Super Bowl hey have at it Quote
