That or purely financial as they do not want to fund additional D1 Football at the state level, even when they potentially could've been in a conference that isn't much different in geographical size than their current D2 conference. Tough sledding without a regional conference, especially if it’s all sports. Just have to get our house in order and find an opportunity if others move. Better yet if we find a way to do it with regional schools and freeze them out of that conference. Quote
