tnt
I know this is the wrong place for this chat and maybe I'm missing the point as well, I confess to no inside knowledge, but Fabbro and Jost chose to come back to Penticton together and that same best friend committed to UND. He has four current teammates committed to UND. As we all know, Its not like UND is a bad place to play hockey and develop your game. I find it hard to believe North Dakota isn't on the short list. BTW: I heard that Jost was going to Denver and Boesser wasn't coming either. With who we stand to lose on defense, it sure would be nice to replace talent with talent, even if the experience factor wouldn't be there. ted2you
Fabbro stated that he wouldn't announce his choice until after the draft. We all know there is a lot of smoke and mirrors in recruiting world, but I wonder why he would wait until after the draft to commit. I know Boesser committed and decommitted to Bucky, but I don't remember if he committed to UND before or after the draft. The timing makes me kind of wonder if he has clearly committed to the NCAA. I'm not sure what other reason you would defer to make a commitment.

As we saw with JT Miller, once your are drafted, you often to what that organization wants. I'm sure based on him staying in penticton this year, he would prefer NCAA, but doesn't want to commit to a school just to back out of it after the draft. At least that is what I am getting from this.
dagies
I agree siouxfan512. I'll bet rather than commit, and perhaps make a change to MJ, he's going to wait and then make a decision...one that he won't change later. Gotta respect that if true. 90siouxfan
Do you suppose by not committing his name is out there just that much more? Could he commit and have all involved keep it on the down low? Maybe he likes the drama? siouxfan512 is likely correct, it would be prudent to wait to after the draft. With his talent, programs would make room.

jjensen
Mitchell Mattson stayed off the point sheet getting 1 SOG in the win.Jackson Keane, lost to Mattson's team, getting no points and 2 SOG.Matt Kiersted lost 6-1 to Team USA, getting 4 SOG. Zach Yon had 7 SOG in the win.Christian Evers had 1 SOG and 2 PIMs in the win over Dubuque.Andrew Peski had 3 SOG in the loss to Cedar Rapids.Tyson Jost has 3 goals through 3, looks to be going into overtime.Dixon Bowen had an assist as did Colton Poolman. Jost from Fabbro and Poolman would look really nice here just saying.Through 10 games Mark Senden has 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points and 28 PIMs in Elite League. jjensen
Colton ends with another assist as he gets one on the final goal 13 seconds into OT. Another Poolman and Fabbro assist line. On a related note does anyone know anything more about Scott Conway? Was and Penn State, than got dismissed due to violating team rules. Would have been their leading returner in points I believe, and is tearing it up with Penticton.
ted2you
Conway is still listed as committed to Penn State. It is not clear what his status is. I thought he had played for Penn State and wondered why he was back at Pentictan. It makes sense, but really didn't follow it that close. It would seem that he is sitting out a year. According to my understanding of NCAA transfer rules after one year, he can play where he wants. No idea what his plans are but he and Jost are tearing up the BCHL. scpa0305
I wonder how much Scott Conway's character issues would sway Berry not to bring him in. Had a good year at Penn State last year and is tearing apart the BCHL. Also, it seems like him and Jost have some chemistry.
