yzerman19
I'm actually worried about Jewels- if he keeps this up, as an undrafted player, he will get offers...losing him would be devastating for next year

Frozen4sioux
Very real possibility. We could see one huge departure after the season. That seems just so wrong. I understand that boundaries have to be somewhere, but that school has been bounced around like a pinball by the MSHSL. Used to think it was because of the brash coach they had (Sarsland) that rubbed some the wrong way. Moorhead had some pretty good battles with the Elks for trips to the state tourney way back when. as15
One of our latest commits, Christian Wolanin, was thought by most people here to be a role player.Ā Based purely off of his offensive production, 15 points in 23 games as a dman in the USHL, he will be much better than that.Ā To put that in perspective, he is having a better year than both Paul LaDue and Tucker Poolman did in the year's they got drafted as overager's, maybe the same thing will happen with Wolanin. Watching him play in the JR. A right now and he's much more than a role player. As a pretty polished offensive game. I had the exact same thought after some of his first shifts.
