Christian Cakebread doesn't register a stat in the win for Fargo. Zach Yon gets a goal on 4 shots going +2. Shane Gersich gets a goal on 4 shots in the win. Chris Wilkie gets a goal on 4 shots going -1 in the loss to Shane's Omaha team. Rhett Gardner doesnt get a point in the win. Danys Chartrand doesnt register a point in the 4-3 win. Andrew Peski also doesnt register a point in the win for Brockville. Dixon Bowen gets two more goals in the win for EGF. Matt Kiersted gets an assist with 6 SOG and 4 PIMS going -2 in the loss for Elk River. Mitchell Mattson gets the hat trick with 2 PIMS in the win for Grand Rapids. Christian Evers doesn't register a point for the Under 18 team versus Neumann University. Sunday As stated above Shane Gersich gets 2 goals on 5 shots but also goes -2 in the game. That seems just so wrong. I understand that boundaries have to be somewhere, but that school has been bounced around like a pinball by the MSHSL. Used to think it was because of the brash coach they had (Sarsland) that rubbed some the wrong way. Moorhead had some pretty good battles with the Elks for trips to the state tourney way back when. Based purely off of his offensive production, 15 points in 23 games as a dman in the USHL, he will be much better than that. To put that in perspective, he is having a better year than both Paul LaDue and Tucker Poolman did in the year's they got drafted as overager's, maybe the same thing will happen with Wolanin. To put that in perspective, he is having a better year than both Paul LaDue and Tucker Poolman did in the year's they got drafted as overager's, maybe the same thing will happen with Wolanin. Watching him play in the JR. A right now and he's much more than a role player. As a pretty polished offensive game. I had the exact same thought after some of his first shifts.
