OETKB Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Well, I totally called this one a tie before the game! Wish I was wrong, because now the best UND can do vs MT is 1-1-1 this year. And that is IF they can win tomorrow. This against a team that has won only 5 games. UND continues to struggle against teams they should beat. Quote
siouxforce19 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 baby steps... we lost to them last time... we have struggled against teams that clog up the lanes defensively. it could be a lot worse. granted, it's definitely very disappointing after last weekend, but it's better than losing. Quote

YaneA Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 This just in from the Bureau of the Obvious: A point is a point, but it's only half as good as 2 points Quote
DAR Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Hak "League parity blah blah blah." Yeah I am so tired of that coach speak....0-1-1 against one of the worst teams in the country...I get so tired of the excuses. Quote
summy1977 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Just get the 3 points and get the hell out of there Quote

jk Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 In a way playing MN last week was bad preparation for this week against Tech. Tech is used to being overmatched so they play hard through it. MN was so shocked at being outplayed that they pretty much gave up. Even so, the Sioux played well enough to win tonight, but just didn't. People who praise them for their fine play last week then rip them for the result tonight, even though they played hard and well ... it seems like misplaced criticism. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 1st period was great, then MTU got their system in place, and they scored a few. Need a win tomorrow in a big way. The trap continues to haunt us. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 This just in from the Bureau of the Obvious: Apoint is a point, but it's only half as good as 2 points And at 1-13-3 in WCHA play MTU really is the 4th best team in the league...just few bad bounces along the way though. Quote
YaneA Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 "couldn't buy a bounce" didn't play a full 60 Hak sounds plenty PO'd Quote

Shawn-O Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Take the fine Hak, call the officiating what it is. Nope, not with that fine new house under construction on the south end. Quote
