Or at the very least just take off the current jersey that they give the players and have your period correct one underneath.

Eddie not wearing full gear was disappointing. He looked weird without chest protector and glove and blocker.

I have Ryan Duncan's green game-worn jersey from his Hobey Baker year.  I had it along for his Final Shift night and he had the opportunity to wear it, but he declined since REA already had the modern jerseys made up for not only himself, but his kids who joined him on the ice.
