Yeah, what UNDBIZ said. It's pretty easy to not get caught though. Just sneak in a small plastic flask or water bottle and dump it into the largest soda available. I still do it occasionally.

There's a laundry list of bullet points I'd like to make about the game and season, but right now I don't really give a....... I'm just happy we have Chaves.

I was always frustrated with classmates for not choosing to continue the party in the Alerus. Just sneak booze in and party in the stands. Beats sitting around a campfire or kitchen table. But, now that I think of it, I couldn't even convince them to party at the tailgate. At least students are going to the tailgate now. When I was there during the Muss years. There wasn't hardly any student tailgating.

Good point.

Why do they stop with the crossing routes?

Radio said he had a bruised collar bone before the game

Jesus... And they combined potato bowl and homecoming for him, why?

I'd guess about 2,200 still available. Still pretty happy with my 11,750 guess, so far. Thinking we see a big student turnout given the game time and weather - perfect for tailgating. And the big win last week should also help with the walk up crowd.

I hope the MVC breaks away. Would create talks with the Montana Schools and Idaho for football. Don't see either happening, though.

@Dave Berger Dave, think you could post this as a featured article so it shows up on the opening home page for SiouxSports? People wouldn't have to stumble upon this thread and dig for the link, which could help.

Hosting in the Dakotas makes sense. UND hosted the big sky tournament in 2016. Not sure official total attendance. But in the three games UND played, they recorded 727, 789, and 1,512 for official attendance for those games. Totaling 3,028.

Anyone else think that Izzy has shown enough to move past Toivonen on the depth chart? The guy has better hands than Toivonen, and he can move down field after catching the ball. He can also stretch the field. Izzy caught a few short passes in the first half of the SHSU game that made it much more easy for us to move the ball down field. Too many of our guys catch the ball and get tackled right where they catch it.

Very true, unfortunately. If UND was truly a top 10 - 20 team, one would think that we would score more than 3 points, though. I can see how people would wait to see one more win from us before placing us in their poll. Many UND fans have the same reservations about our offense.
-
UND also could have shown more against MVSU. 35 points against that team isn't going to impress anyone. Jacksonville State is at about 12 in the polls. Rushed for 366 and passed for 288 against them, and won 71 to zero. Jacksonville only gave up 133 yards of total offense.

We cant afford to half holm on the field when we are returning kicks

Found some notes on Santiago from a scout at the Washington game. ......"His best value is as a return specialist, writes Serritella, "but his skill-set suggests he could also play slot receiver at the next level with his open field elusiveness and catching ability." He also writes that Santiago is a long shot to be drafted, but he could be a name to consider as an UDFA. We can't help but think of Phillip Lindsay. I think that was Ty Shannon - laying on the ground as they cut to a commercial. Thought he played again after he got hurt, though, can't remember for sure.
