  4. afuk this... he wentnin... looked up at the red and flopped over... POS flopping theatrics .. BS
  5. eeeeeh... maybe toss in a water in the rotation, its going ro be a long day.
  6. Not directed at you at all but some of the things I've seen on the book face make it seem like the team needs their own little comfy safespace... to regroup and try wealy wealy hawrd Next weekend. Sorry but the only snowflakes in play next weekend are going to be on my driveway.... unfourtunetly.
  7. Road Fans = Best Fans. #Dont@me
  8. I hope some of the apologists for the team also understand that effort is fine and dandy, but in the real world.... Results matter. Doesn't matter if a kid or coaches works till they drop, in the NHL AHL or as an accountant.... if there isn't production, the effort is mute. Sorry if that offends but, it's life. I hope our program is teaching and developing that reality in the kids too, it sure seems like in the past that the was the case.
  9. Nope. deffinetly not pinning the loss on him, just observations on the play. He played well enough to win a hockey game, but .....the obvious ......zero goals scored.
  10. Actually, Thome was fairly consistently a bit out of position, he definitely was drifting east west more than I think he'd like. That "Brilliant save" looked awesome but i think was going to go cross the crease. The Du guy didnt have the toe hold to wrap it in, if he did even a little it would have gone in, Thome was beaten badly being to far to his left. I think he is weak glove and squares more to that side to compensate on a weakness that is known and finds himself out to far, to often. DU wasnt good tonight, very beatable team (CC on line one, as you know). The goals he let in, I dont "fault" him... D got lazy didnt pick up a guy in the slot, thn a tip from blue line shot, I bet he would say, "yeah the kid beat me on the first one, and the second although i could have positioned better, once things are allowednto deflected that much, its a crap shoot" A D1 TOP CONFERENCE HOCKEY PLAYER ALONE UNMOLESTED IN THE SLOT SHOULD PROBABLY SCORE THAT PUCK MORE OFTEN THAN NOT..... our guys have either been missing the net or straight logo from there. UND has to be able to score 3 goals. They score 3 GPG... 11 more wins. Just 2 GPG 6 more wins and a few more ties.
  11. you forgot about the errant pass, settle it down, wait for goalie to square, shoot sequence. The individual skill should really be improving, let alone the chemestry
  12. Heres a classic Hawks hockey scenario.. Win 7-1 saturday night.... lose 1-0 on sunday.
  13. The Black sweaters are done, the magic sucubused away by thebemblems of embarrassment on the shoulders. Wear them tomorrow for the funeral prosession, end the misery, then never wear the black again. Officially retire them.
  14. Get used to it. This is Fighting Hawks athletics. We've gone from Tradition of Excellence to Memories of Mediocre
  15. I dont know but hes probly one of our top scorers on the year
  16. OHHHHH good Shaw's drawin something up. Is it possible he was doing up a resignation on the whiteboard?
  17. Seems UND system all year was focused on winning board battle = sucess yet the next step of making a pass and getting a quality shot was just skipped over. like someone took those pages out of the book.
  18. Yep switched over #PucktheFrivates
  19. gutman just dove bad. no call
  20. seem tonremember a long conversation on how this denvi tendybwas just struggling and fighting it forna few weeks. Rhis team cures that right quick
  21. These announcers remind me of two brand new to hockey squirt dads just tippen'em back and blurting out their thoughts.
  22. Sloppy sloppy sloppy... And yes announcers are putrid. Thome has been quite a bit oit of position... ooof
  23. GF balancing teams is a good solution to AA parity, without it its still a contest for 2nd 9 out of 10 years. GFYH needs to lead that culture change at the youth levels. i.e. balance equal teams In the A and B bands throughout. Maybe a A class allows for equitable establishment of the new Legacy and WF teams when they inevitably come online. Who knows... What happened in GFPR in the last 5-8 years has a lot more bearing on the near future than the ancient history you referenced, sorry thats the facts. Grafton as a whole has been a yo yo of class movement in sports throughout the past 20 -25 years. Might have a bit of experience with this one. Maybe they'll have to prove they can restablish and maintain a cohesive youth program and then compete with the AA. Heck, allow the top A team each year to play up, hell maybe a relegation series, gives an interest to those team at the bottom of AA. Who knows....make it interesting. Its simply not now for most programs. Or just plan to play for no purpose or goal, that'll keep kids interested. Why is having differentiated classes of for youth, AA, A, B1, B different tourney brackets, but then suddenly stupid in HS?? Different talent levels, different competition bands. Anything, ideas, discussion, solutions > foolish stagnant moronic ignorance toward the issues. Issues, BTW, outlined at length and highly publisized on radio and social media the past month. Not sure you can see that through the incredibly small tunnel vision.
